Departure Preparations

Seeing that his parents had agreed with him, he looked at them with a sad smile because he wanted to stay with them, but Alton knew that the system needed to be followed to keep them safe in future.

"I will be going back to my room if you need me just send the servant to call me" Alton got up and then headed to the door and exited the room.

Maria gave Aldwin and Aria a slight bow and then followed Alton.

As Alton left the room, Aldwin turned towards Aria and asked, "Why did you agree with him? I called you here to ask him to give up this madness, but you gave him the permission."

Aria looked toward Aldwin with a smile; "Did you see his eyes?"

Aldwin was speechless when Aria continued, "They had determination and hope in them which he did not have before; if I had not seen his eyes I will not have had agreed with him."

Aldwin was speechless hearing this; "So you believe in his vision?"

Aria nodded in denial while saying, "Not even one bit. I know he is hiding something, but after seeing his eyes, I gave up because if he is trying to hide it so hard, then it must have a reason behind it, and I have decided to believe in his words that he is going there to get strong and not run away from the people and pressure."

Aldwin nodded to Aria, and he also decided to believe in him because Aldwin felt the coldness in his voice which shocked him.

"So where are you going to make my sweet child stay?" Aria asked while looking at Aldwin.

Aldwin rubbed his jaw with his right hand while thinking when he finally thought of something. "How about letting him stay with the Earl Troy family? We have a good tie with them, and we were also going to make their daughter marry Alton if he and she agreed."

Aria nodded to this, thinking that this was the best place for him to stay, but then she said, "Ask them to make a house for him with three rooms, a training area, and all the other things and give them all the money they need to make these things."

Aldwin nodded because he understood that Alton would not agree to stay with them.

Aria got up and started walking out of the room, saying, "I will start making the preparations; at least he agreed to take Maria with him, and I can trust that Maria will take good care of him."

Aldwin also sighed in relief because he knew that Maria always cared for him and trusted her, so he started writing the letter to Earl Troy's family and informing them about the situation.

Alton and Maria walked towards Alton's room in silence, and they both entered the room; then Alton looked at Maria with a smile; "Maria, I am sorry for telling them that I will take you without even your consent if you don't want to come just tell me I will not take you there."

Maria was shocked but also happy. After all, her Young Master asked her about her decision to follow him because most of the nobles would probably tell their servants about the decision rather than giving them a choice.

Maria bowed a bit and then said, "Young Master, from the day I was assigned to you, I decided to follow you where ever you went, so I was happy when you said that you would only take me there with you."

Alton opened his mouth but closed it again as he was going to say something but held it in, and Maria noticed it and then said, "Young Master do you want to say something."

Alton nodded and answered, "I will tell you something but not now but on our journey to North so prepare well for the journey."

Maria nodded and then left the room to prepare for the journey because they were leaving in a week.

Alton was left alone in the room, so he said in his mind, 'System you there.'

A reply came, 'Yes, Host' Alton then asked, 'Can I tell others about you and the past.'

The system replied, 'Host, there is no restriction from the system for you to not tell anyone about it.' Alton sighed and then, with a serious tone, asked, 'Are you sure moving to the north will help me?'

The system replied immediately, 'Host, there is always a reason behind Quests; you should trust them because their sole purpose is to help you become powerful.

'Show me the Quest again,' Alton said

A black screen appeared in front of him, and he looked at it closely

[Travel to the North of Alzonian Empire]

[Time Limit: 1 month]

[Reward: 50 XP, ten coins]

[Penalty: System Removal (Death)]

Alton looked at the screen closely, first the mission, then the time limit, then the reward and last penalty; when he was shocked seeing the penalty and asked in a shocked manner, "System Removal is understandable, but why is death in there."

The system replied, 'The system is connected with the host soul so if system is removed the host will die.' Alton then asked, "Why is the penalty so big?"

The system replied, "If the host cannot even complete this mission, then it just meant that host is not worthy of the system and thus system will be removed."

Alton understood that the system was not simple, and he must work hard even if he has the system.
