The Night before Departure

The rest of the party went without any other incident because the people Alton hated the most were not present today. After all, Aldwin decided on this party on such short notice.

As the party ended, all the people returned to their houses, and the hall became empty.

Lisa (POV)

Lisa and her parents were on their way back to their residence. Lisa looked at his father, who had the same green hair colour as her but different eye colour; as she looked at him without speaking, her mother, Elena, a long-haired black beauty with brown eyes colour and fair skin and with a perfect hourglass body.

Elena noticed this and asked: "Lisa dear, what's wrong? Why are you looking at Mark without saying anything."

Mark was also lost in thoughts, but this brought him back, and he looked at Lisa with a smile "Sweetie, what is it? Why are you looking at me like that? Did I do something wrong to you?"

Lisa looked his father in the eyes and asked, "The information you gave me about the young master was wrong." Mark was shocked to hear this and asked, "What do you mean?"

Lisa looked at him and answered, "You said that Young Master Alton was a person who was not smart and he was introvert so why did he talk to me?"

Mark smiled at her and answered, "No, he was an introvert, but I don't know how he changed as for the reason he talked to you. Alton told me later when we were talking that he saw you alone, so that's why he talked to you because Alton saw you alone and you both were sitting alone, but why are you saying that he is smart."

A smile appeared on Lisa's face, and she looked at Mark. "Dad, didn't he talk with you, and if what you said before was right than didn't you feel any kind of change from him." Mark was thinking about the same thing before that there was a change in the feeling he got from Alton today.

Without waiting for the answer, Lisa commented, "Don't take the Young Master light; he is a Lion in sheep's clothing right now, and the only reason he is staying silent right now is that he doesn't have the power."

Mark and Elena looked at Lisa in surprise because Lisa was brilliant and she had good instinct by birth and she is never wrong, so if she had such a good comment about him, he must be unique. Lisa mumbled in a low voice, "The future is going to be interesting."

In Teren Mansion

After all the people had left the house, Aldwin and Aria invited Alton to have tea with them because today was going to be the last day they would see him for a long time.

As Alton was sitting with his parents, Maria was serving them tea, and after serving, she stood behind Alton as he looked at his parents and asked, "What is it that you want to talk to me about?"

Aldwin cleared his throat a bit and then looked at Alton. "Alton, for your information, we didn't believe in your dream, and we know that you must have a reason to hide the real reason behind it."

Alton just smiled at his parents, staying silent because he knew that his parents were not idiots; then Aria said, "We will believe in you, so get strong so that you can stop all the people from saying anything bad about you."

Alton looked at his mother and father and nodded. "I will, mother, father. I will become powerful enough so our family will never face shame."

Aldwin and Aria smiled and nodded, then Aria looked at Maria and said, "Maria, I will entrust Alton to you; please take care of him."

Maria nodded and said, "Mam, I will take care of the young master; you don't need to take tension anymore." Aldwin and Aria smiled and nodded at this.

Alton looked at his parents and said, "Mother, Father, there is something that I need to talk about regarding Maria to you both." Aldwin and Aria were both shocked to hear this because Maria always cared for him like her little brother, so what could he want to say about her?

Three of Maria, Aldwin, and Aria looked at Alton and continued, "I want to ask you guys to adopt Maria and make her a family member."

Aria, Aldwin, and Maria were shocked to hear this, and all three of them looked at him with a questioning look.

Aria looked at Maria and remembered that she found Maria when Maria was only five years old, starving on the street and looking at her she felt pity and took her into the house and years later she had become her most trusted person. Aria cared for Maria and took care of her.

Aldwin then asked, "Why are you asking that?" Alton smiled and then answered, "I respect Maria like an elder sister, and I trust her the most after you guys, and she has taken care of me like I was her little brother for years and also taken care of you guys for years; more than a maids work."

Aldwin and Aria nodded to this because, from the first time Maria entered the mansion, she took care of them more than needed and always respected them. Aldwin and Aria both nodded, and then Aldwin looked at Maria and asked, "Maria, you heard what Alton just said? Will you be willing to join our family as the daughter of the Teren family? All of us know about the things you have done, and I asked Aria how to reward you for your years of care, so will you accept it."

Aria said, "Maria, I have taken care of you like a daughter, and I would love it if you would agree to become my daughter. I always wanted a daughter, and I would get one his way."

At this moment, tears were coming down Maria's eyes without stopping, while she had a big smile on her face because her years of hard were being recognized by the people she considered her family.

Alton looked at her and asked, "So Maria will you become my big sister or...."

Before Alton could complete his words, Maria cut, "Master, Madam, Young Master, I would love to become your family member but are you sure."

Aria smiled, took Maria's hand, and said, "We would not say this if we were not sure we know that you would never betray us in our life and no more calling us Master and Madam; you can now change it."

Maria, with a wet face and red eyes, looked at them and said, "Yes, Mother, Father, thank you." Maria was alone from the start and didn't know her family, so after twenty-eight years of her life, she finally had a family and was happy about it.

Alton looked at her and said, "You are calling them Mother and Father; what about me." Maria looked at him and said, "Little Alton or little brother choose." With a smile on his face, Alton said, "Little brother then big sister." Maria nodded, and Aria, Alton, and Aldwin hugged Maria because she was part of the family from now on.
