Family Get Together (III)

All the people in the hall currently had their attention on Alton and Lisa and were gossiping about why their young master, who had not attended any of the past events, was attending now, and he was even talking to the girl.

The head of Jamil's house and Aldwin were standing near each other and couple of other people and talking about the work-related problem when Alton stood up from the chair, walked towards the girl, and started talking to her in a friendly tone.

Alton seeing this was shocked and when Aria came to him seeing Alton talking to the girl and asked, "Aldwin do you know who that girl is?"

Aldwin nodded in denial when they were interrupted by a man standing near them; he had small green hair, the same as the girl with the same color eyes but a slight build. "Master, Madam, that will be my daughter. I have brought her here for the first time today and was going to introduce her to all after this meeting." Aldwin and Aria looked at him, and he was the head of Jamil house Mark Von Jamil.

Aria smiled hearing this and then asked with a smile, "So she is your daughter; what is her name?" Mark smiled at her and answered, "Madam, her name is Lisa Von Jamil."

Aria and Aldwin nodded to this, but Aldwin was staying silent and thinking, "Why, of all the people in the hall, he just went to talk to her. Did he know her identity" Aldwin then looked at Mark, whose attention was also on Alton and Lisa, and thought, 'Did he know that Jamil house is a most loyal house out of them all?'

Aldwin had a smile on his face but didn't say anything and kept looking at them.

"So, Young Master.." Alton raised an eyebrow hearing this and repeated Lisa words, and then said, "No need to be so courteous; you can call me Alton and sit down; let's talk." Lisa wanted to reject calling him Alton but seeing his firm resolve, she sat down with Alton and then asked, "So Alton what do you want to talk about."

Alton smiled at her and said in a low voice that she only heard, "Can I trust you?" Lisa was shocked to hear Alton's words because they had just met, and now he was asking if he could trust her; how can anyone trust anyone on their first meeting? Lisa looked at him straight and answered, "No, Alton, you cannot trust me because we have just met."

Alton smiled and then got up from his chair and said, "Good, you have passed the test; you better become a 3-star Elementary mage by the time I come back so I can trust you then.". Alton walked away from her to his parents to meet other people who had helped or wanted better for him and were loyal to him and his family.

As Alton was walking, Lisa kept looking at his back with a questioning look; how did he know I was trying to be a mage and is he the same as the rumors? But Lisa moved her head down with a smile while mumbling, "No, he is a Lion in sheep's clothing."

Alton walked toward his parents with a smile on his face, thinking about the Jamil, Starlette, Tigger, and Tenysi houses loyal to the family, but the Jamil house was on the top. The next head of the Jamil house was Lisa, the youngest mage; in the past, they had relation, but they were not close, but when in need, Lisa sacrificed her life and the family to fight the people.

As Alton reached his parents, he looked at them. "Father, Mother." His father and mother nodded, then he pointed toward the group of specific people. "Alton, these are the heads of Jamil, Starlette, Tigger, and Tenysi houses, and they are all my most trusted companions."

Starlette's family head was a woman who looked to be in her twenties, but Alton knew that she was a mage and was using magic to show herself young, and her actual age was far from it; she had a beautiful face with long blond hair reaching her waist and a perfect body with a name Wendy Von Starlette. The Tigger family head had small brown hair, his stature was small, but with big muscles, with name James Von Tigger the last but not least Tenysi family head name had black hair and the same body as Aldwin, and he went with the name of Liam Von Tenysi.

Alton looked at them and bowed in respect while saying, "Good Evening to you all." He had to show respect because even if he was the count's son, they all had the rank of Viscount, so they were above him. Seeing him greeting them, Wendy said, holding Alton's face with a smile, "Sister, he is a male version of you; in the years I have not seen him, he has gotten more handsome." Wendy said while looking at Aria.

Aria smiled and said, "Thank you, Wendy." Alton was a problem but seeing his mother smile, he decided to endure, and then Mark said, "Young Master did you have a good time talking to my daughter." Alton looked at him, recognized that he was Mark, and then answered: "Yes, I was sitting alone, and seeing that she was alone I thought that we were companions, so I thought of getting to know her." Mark and the rest smiled at this because Alton finally gave up his introverted personality when James said, "Alton your father has told us the reason behind your departure get powerful and then come back."

Liam was mostly silent and then took out a pendant and said, "This is defensive equipment that will help you in your journey." Saying this, he went silent once again. Alton thanked them all once again and then started talking to them about other things; Aldwin and Aria seeing that his most trusted people and his son were having a good conversation, both had a smile on their faces.
