A convoy left Jordan’s home in the morning, taking less than ten minutes to ascend. Some guards were left behind to guard the house. In the first car, Jordan, Ana, and Mariela sat at the back with Jordan’s personal driver, who was none other than the major behind the wheel.

The drive was quiet. No tension at all. It was like something was whispering to them that fate had laid the table of their victory before them.

After about twenty minutes, things turned from cool in Jordan’s car to restlessness. Mariela just noticed that no one was asking her for directions. What was worse, the car had veered off in the opposite direction from what she expected. “We missed the direction, guys. This is not the way to boss Elias’ mansion. It is the other route that we have left.” Mariela spoke with restlessness and confusion.
