MEETING THE MEN

Jordan looked at the men before him with a flat expression, denoting neither danger nor appreciation of what the men were implying. No word was said, but with a single slight eye gesture, Jordan’s men shut the opposing men down, pulling their bodies to the corner. The move was swift and silent, with the help of the silencers.

Jordan signaled some of the men to stand guard outside the entrance, their eyes darting all over the area. He forged forward with Major, the two ladies, and a group of ready-for-war soldiers. Each step Jorda took was fueled by the desire to slit the throats of those people. He forged with long, silent strides, his eyes resembling those of a predator as he crept inside the villa and along the dimly lit hallways. A hint of merriment could be heard within, with the faint sounds of faraway laughter and clinking glasses.

They reached the door, and since there were only men left, they took him out in a snap. The door was held open for him.
