“So, what do we do now, Jordan?” Mr. Jonathan asked when they were left alone.

“Call the bank manager and tell him not to disclose anything about me. He only needs to say that I did not do what that crazy woman is accusing me of.” Jordan said.

“Okay. I will make a call to him right now. I will be back in a minute.” Mr. Jonathan spoke and left.

Ana was left staring at Jordan with sympathy. She did not understand why the man had to go through so much. But she admired his bravery and thriving nature.

Just then, Diana dragged herself to them. “I don’t know what kind of spell you have cast on the officer; he refused to put you behind bars.” She sneered. She had anticipated that the officer would put Jordan in the cell, but he did not do that. He, on the contrary, just left an officer to watch over Jordan as if he were someone important.
