“As one of the shareholders, you dimwit!” Diana screeched.

“You may have all the rights, Diana, but Ana and I were with Jordan. We are witnesses that he did not do what you are accusing him of. If he did steal, he would be behind bars by now, don’t you think?” Mr. Jonathan tried to speak some sense into Diana.

She smirked. “And who would believe you, huh? You both are his friends, and I suppose you know how birds of a feather work. I would not be dumbfounded if you both were accomplices to all of his crimes.” Diana stated.

Mr. Jonathan felt offended. Diana was patently insulting them to their faces.

“If he stole anything or committed any offense, why is he, or rather, why are we still walking free?” Ana fought back.
