The guy made himself sound pretty convincing that Yujin immediately had second thoughts over the situation. It wasn’t even like Yujin had any interest over the new weaponry and power upgrades he was mentioning earlier.
Yujin abruptly
began to feel like it was necessary for him to be able to know that fact.Especially since he had become interested in identifying how he could kill every monster that had infiltrated the colony the fastest way he could do so.“I don’t trust you.” Yujin bluntly told the guy.
“Of course you won’t.” the guy said back as if initiating to mock Yujin.
However, Yujin didn’t settle just like that, he wanted to make even with the conversation which was why he immediately replied, “I don’t trust you and your green hair.” as he points out the guy’s wavy green hair.
Indeed the guy talking to Yujin right now does have green hair that looks like he came from a group of notorious fellows. Although his body frame wasn’t really much built up compared to Yujin, he astoundingly appeared way more skilled than Yujin.
As seen from the skill that he exhibited before Yujin earlier, he was able to swiftly make Yujin pin on the ground in the blink of an eye. And Yujin wasn’t even able to anticipate that. He even didn’t have enough strength to overpower their strongest comrade right away either.
The ragged features of the way these three young people wore only tell us that they were really trained in a hazardous field that even decent clothing seems a scarcity.
Suddenly, the green haired guy grinned as he took a few steps forward to meet with Yujin face front as he replied, “And I don’t trust you either, golden haired boy.” while referring to Yujin’s blonde hair.
There came a rising dispute between the two of them as each of them stare intently through their eyes. It was as if any moment from now, a fist fight would definitely commence soon after something triggered the two even further.
However, just before even that came close to happen, the green haired guy suddenly step back as he smiled and said, “But of course, I didn’t say that for us to fight. Like I said earlier, I came here to make a deal with the champion of the thirteenth colony.”
But that statement from the green haired guy abruptly confused Yujin instead. He suddenly became unaware what does the green haired guy meant about being the champion of the thirteenth colony.
Yujin had no complete idea what in the world was this guy even talking about. All that he knew was that he needed to extract what information he have and after that he could just leave them all be.
Although there was some underlying catch on to this that Yujin could’t help but wonder to think about. Of course, he knew that they could be up to something not good. Looking by the way they all appear, it wouldn’t even be wonder for Yujin to believe that they could possibly have some sort of shenanigans hidden beneath their sleeves.
And Yujin should be more careful around them knowing that he wasn’t fully aware of how they even act. It’s a risk trying to make any reckless move right away soon after they even gather up to claim those weaponry either.
“Weren’t you aware? You are the thirteenth champion now.” the green-haired guy said.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Yujin answered back. His response was the genuine thing. He really wasn’t aware whatever was this champion thing that the green-haired guy was even talking about in the first place. He feel completely clueless that he was beginning to be eagerly curious what does it mean.
Somehow, the green-haired guy just makes it sound like the term thirteenth champion was a very important recognition. Yujin then thought that could this green-haired guy may have been a champion himself as well.
The green-haired sounded like he knew so much about the monsters, as well as the term colony champion. Unfortunately for Yujin, those terms was very foreign to him. It was even thought to them in the institution or perhaps, it was actually thought but Yujin could either be sleeping or skipping class to tend on street riot instead.
None of the lessons in the institution matter with Yujin anyway, therefore it’s understandable that he wouldn’t be able to remember had there been such a lesson from the colony champions were ever been discussed to them before.
After a while that the green-haired guy didn’t even bother answering Yujin’s first question, Yujin then made another attempt to pose a question from the green-haired guy.
“What do you know about this champion thing?” Yujin ask. His face was very serious while looking at the direction of the green-haired guy.
The green-haired guy on the other hand was merely looking on Yujin as if he feeling pity over Yujin in a sarcastic way. The green-haired guy knew that Yujin was already beginning to become interested about what he was talking about.
It could be very well be noticed from the way that Yujin followed up his unanswered questions with another question saying, “How does being a champion have to do with killing the monsters? Answer me!”
And then, out of nowhere, Yujin abruptly raised his voice why trying to clutch the green-haired guy’s collar.
Although Yujin had already anticipated that there would definitely be a back up once he attacked this green-haired guy, he had not anticipated that he would be instantly held on both side of his arms by the woman and the bigger guy comrades of the green-haired guy.
Yujin tried to struggle but to his astonishment, he couldn’t believe that the woman was actually way too strong for him to easily subdue. No matter how much effort he exerted, Yujin can still find a way to break free from their hold.
It’s like being chained on both her arms that prevents her from escaping.
And then, while Yujin was still trying to free himself, the green-haired guy then abruptly approached Yujin once again saying, “Very well, Champion. Since I am being nice to you today. I will provide you with few detail you wish to know about your new role as the thirteenth champion.”
“Get your hands off of me.” Yujin tried to struggle and get the hands that had been holding him, off of him. However, since they were much stronger than Yujin, he ended up only wasting his time since he could not even go against any of them at this point.“Well then, champion, off we go to the crystal fortress of the thirteenth colony.” the green-haired guy said after instructing his other two comrades to follow him.The two comrades of the green-haired man smoothly dragged Yujin from the area and into an ovular ship. It was a spacious flying ship that has top edge technological engines which Yujin had never seen before. After the bigger man dragged Yujin into the virtual cage, the three of them immediately began to maneuver the whole system of the ship as it launches. Yujin attempted to escape, however, the moment his hand even touched the edge of the virtual cage, he instantly felt an electrifying jolt coursed through his entire body. He saw that it radiated from the round transluc
As the ovular ship crash lands on the deck of the crystal fortress, the impact caused Yujin to collide with the energy cell that imprisons him within. And as a result, the impact electrified Yujin a couple of times. The pain that he had to endure after that impact was so unbearable that Yujin even screamed out the anguish he felt over his predicament. He felt like his entire body had gone numb. The electric shock left him feeling nothing. It was as if his entire body had been deprived of its own senses. “What happened, Olgin?” the green-haired guy abruptly asked his comrade. Olgin immediately looked at him and answered, “The system just crashed on its own, Takeru.” And despite being in a complete state of numbness, Yujin had finally discovered the name of the green-haired guy as Takeru. It doesn’t even sound nice to hear at all. Hearing even just his name makes Yujin want to throw his fist against Takeru’s face. If only things would be that easy for Yujin to do. Apparently he
As they got closer to the pillar that was floating in front of them, the four of them stopped moving and stood still. It was glowing and emanating some kind of energy, which for some reason attracted Yujin to it all of a sudden. Because the sight was so intense, he had no choice but to partially shield his eyes with his hands. "What the hell is that annoying light all about?" Yujin grumbled while simultaneously attempting to cover his eyes. Because Yujin did not have a complete understanding of the pillar's capabilities, he refrained from getting any closer to it. It was uncertain whether it would pose a threat to him, but even if it hadn't, he wasn't going to rush into it right away. On the other hand, much to his chagrin, it turned out that Takeru was the one who was drawing him closer to the pillar. And because Yujin no longer possessed the strength or resources necessary to effectively combat Takeru, he was typically in the most precarious position possible. "Where exactly are
They hadn't planned on it at all and certainly weren't looking forward to it in any way. Takeru was under the impression that there were two ways to activate the pillar. The first option was to activate the pillar through the process of activating the pillar by using their mana to infuse against the pillar. The other way would be to offer a sacrifice of one's own blood. In the event that the champion passes away before the activation of the pillar has even occurred, he may use his own blood to activate the pillar as well. The pillar will be able to identify the blood of a champion who has successfully vanquished an S-class monster, which will cause it to spin and make the weapon available to the champion. However, at this moment, all of them were in complete shock and disbelief because the pillar didn't work according to what they were expecting. Instead, after it spun around, there was an enormous light coming from its usual normal luminescence. Following the immense light that
“Hold on there…” Yujin's concentration was broken by a voice that was both seductive and endearing. He was caught off guard when Aera appeared out of nowhere and thwarted his intention to shoot Takeru next. He had not anticipated that she would do so. “Aera…” Yujin found that he couldn't stop himself from muttering louder than a whisper.. Even though it appeared to be at a relatively low volume, Aera was still able to hear it adequately. "Did you just refer to me by my name, Champion?" Aera asked with a teasing tone on her voice. The moment Yujin moved, his reflexes kicked in, instantly waking him up. He made an effort to rouse himself from the moment, but he was in danger of succumbing to Aera's alluring presence and had to fight the temptation. The exact same thing happened to him when he saw her for the first time. Aera wasn't concerned that Yujin wasn't able to provide an answer to her question because she was more focused on finding a way to prevent Yujin from aiming his ar
“So, will you seriously pull that off even though you know it could also hit Aera?” Takeru informed him out of the blue. This caused Yujin to have a spur of the moment thought about Aera, who was on the frontline. On the other hand, Yujin was aware of the fact that Takeru's primary concern was not Aera but rather the fact that he would be spared yet again. That was something that Yujin simply could not allow to take place. Especially considering that he was also aware that opportunities like this one do not present themselves very frequently. And because of these considerations, Yujin did not waver in his firm determination to direct the energy arrow in their direction. While he was looking at Aera, he was aware of the powerful force of hesitance; however, his desire to punish Takeru was even stronger than that. “You think you can outsmart me by convincing me to believe that stupid reason, do you?” Yujin said. He was giving off the appearance of a sly grin on his face to show
Yujin released the energy arrow without hesitation, and it went above the sky. What Takeru and Aera failed to anticipate was that such action would actually result in the orb scattering like petals and becoming a hundred versions of energy arrows hitting in Aera’s direction. Although Yujin’s hands were weirdly shaking, he had to suppress it because he had decided on this despite having the weird agony of having to harm Aera with his own hands. He had to keep reminding himself that Aera was his enemy. She serves Takeru, and it wouldn’t help if he kept showing this vulnerable side of him. Aera would only use that up against him over and over. Yujin could simply not allow Aera to continuously use that trump card against him. The energy arrow that had split into a hundred versions of it after flying off the sky instantly, aiming to head on straight before Aera and Takeru. Both of them were in a state of shock and just when Takeru thought that he was actually at the verge of winning, onl
“What in the world?” Yujin, who was wholly oblivious to the events that were taking place, abruptly looked around him as everyone started laughing at him. He was just at the point where he was thinking that maybe it was just because the orb required some kind of warming up, which is why Yujin tried to start yielding another orb again. On the other hand, for some inexplicable reason, the same thing occurred to him once more. There was absolutely no way that he could fashion a weapon out of his orb in any way. In fact, his orb refused to materialize under any circumstances. Yujin watched as the orb dispersed easily from his palm like smoke, as if there was some kind of unexpected thing that was preventing it from coming into manifestation. When Yujin looked around once more, he noticed that everyone was laughing, and for a few seconds, it made him feel even more embarrassed than before. “What’s wrong, champion? Can’t seem to get your orb out of its place?" Takeru teased Yujin. Becaus
