After the explosion, which had obviously had repercussions throughout the entire colony, the alarm of the colony's siren, which had been silent for a considerable amount of time, sounded.
The unexpected sound caught everyone off guard, particularly because the majority of them had never heard it before.
After hearing the warning scream of the siren, all of the people in the thirteenth colony once again began to shake, and fear began to well up inside of them in anticipation of the abomination that was coming their way.
More than a mile away, across the twelfth colony, was the location of the most recent close-range siren the people from the thirteenth colony had ever heard.
It was when the same kinds of monsters were able to break through the barrier of the colony and destroy the entire area, leaving almost no one alive after they did so.
Even their crystal fortress in the twelfth colony was not able to hold up for very long in the face of the overwhelming amount of pressure that was being applied by the various kinds of monsters.
It was reported that three S-tier monsters using extremely powerful orbs completely destroyed the crystal fortress and devoured all the humans who had taken refuge there.
This terrible occurrence had a catastrophic impact on the entire twelfth colony, and it now appeared that the thirteenth colony, which was the last one on Espactra, would soon suffer the same fate.
After what seemed like a long while of processing what was going on, a loud chaos began to spread out across the colony as a herd of monsters entered the whole zone.
All the people screamed in horror and helplessness as each and every one of them was slowly chased down and devoured by these monstrosities.
Others started running away and looking for somewhere they could hide as they fled the area.
While others, who are fully aware of the situation, made a hasty journey to the north in order to locate the crystal fortress of the thirteenth colony before it could even become completely occupied with other refugees.
While this was going on, back at the educational institution that served the thirteenth colony, all of the students were being given the order to immediately evacuate the entire campus.
The underground shuttle, which was the quickest way for all of them to transfer to the crystal fortress at the same time, was to be used by each and every student and faculty member of the institution.
And while everyone in the establishment was carefully evacuating the whole place, there was one person who was not even aware of the situation just yet. After the explosion, he was obliterated by the heap of vending machines that had been stacked on top of him.
Yujin, who was in the lounge when the explosion occurred, made an effort to flee the building, but by the time he reached the exit, it was too late for him to even make it out entirely.
As a result of the impact, the ground began to shake, which appears to have been the factor that ultimately led to him losing consciousness after a falling vending machine struck him on the head.
It was a lucky break for him that the accident didn't even end up taking his life. Yujin was finally able to regain consciousness a short while after everyone else on the campus had successfully evacuated the building and the institution altogether.
Yujin's head was still hurting from the blow it took from the vending machine, but despite the discomfort, he made an effort to get to his feet and get a better look at his surroundings.
When he tried to remember what took place in the moments before he blacked out, the only thing Yujin could bring to mind was a massive explosion that resounded throughout Espactra's thirteenth colony.
After that, Yujin started to look around the establishment in the hopes that he could find someone to question about what had just occurred, but to his astonishment, he was unable to locate anyone there.
Even a single one of them was nowhere to be found in the area any longer.
Yujin had just had the thought that it was possible for the others to have already evacuated the building. And because Yujin could still feel some discomfort on his forehead, he immediately tried to touch it and abruptly confirmed that the discomfort was all due to a small wound that was located on his forehead.
He made the decision to go to the infirmary in order to get assistance from the institution's medic, but when he arrived at the infirmary, there was no one around there either. It seemed odd to him given that the institution's physician would most likely spend his free time in the hospital, treating it as if it were his own residence.
On the other hand, it seemed like the infirmary had become a run-down clinic. The cabinets had their doors propped open, giving the impression that someone had just come in to store away some medical supplies; additionally, the tables on which the majority of the medical kits that were always present were now completely empty.
Given the current circumstances, Yujin was no longer able to utilize the institution’s infirmary. Which was why even with an aching forehead, Yujin exited the infirmary to head out the school grounds.
He had better get out there and see things for himself if he wanted a better understanding of what was going on around him.
Yujin made the decision to leave the establishment for good in the end because there was no one left there who could obstruct him now that everyone else had abandoned him.
And as soon as he opened the school gate, the answer to his earlier question was suddenly presented to him in the form of a visual: two monsters of approximately the same height as him were heading in the direction of the gate.
It was already too late for Yujin to attempt to close the gate once more because the monsters were running towards him much more quickly than he had anticipated. Yujin immediately took his escape route and returned to the establishment after being overcome with a surge of adrenaline.
He had not even entertained the possibility that he would ever experience something like this in his life.
He had been in a number of violent fights in the past, including gang wars, which he had easily won. But he could never have imagined in his wildest dreams that a day like this would come, where he would feel the need to cower before his adversaries.
He even reasoned that it would be understandable knowing that he had no idea how he would actually fight off these monsters, which he thought was reasonable given that he had no idea how he would do so.
It was the very first time he had come across any of them this close, and in addition to that, he did not have a full understanding of how powerful these two monsters that were chasing after him could be.
The only thing that Yujin was aware of at this point was the possibility that he would have to fight for his own survival.

However, for the time being, Yujin needs to keep running quickly in order to find a more advantageous location to fight the two monsters that are still chasing after him.If there was one more thing that he could have that would give him an advantage over these two monstrosities, then it would be the entire grounds of the institution. Yujin reasoned that since this was his homecourt, he had a significant advantage over his adversaries and could have easily won a gang war if the situation had been similar. Yujin, however, would need to come up with some new strategies in order to be successful in his battle against the monsters that he would be facing this time, rather than regular people. In order to do so, the fact that he would be facing monsters rather than regular people called for a different approach. And he was well aware that what he was about to do was nothing more than a wager on chance.Yujin immediately ran across the corridors of the ground floor. He knew the monsters

Yujin was forced to contend with two monsters of a lower class. And despite the fact that they belonged to lower-class tiers, Yujin was unable to ignore the fact that he was outnumbered; this was still a disadvantage that he needed to take into consideration. However, due to the fact that Yujin had participated in a number of gang battles in which he was vastly outnumbered, he was aware of the specifics of how he ought to be able to turn the tide in his favor. Despite the fact that he knew he was dealing with monsters rather than merely delinquent humans like himself, he was still unable to avoid a brief moment of reluctance.Yujin was suddenly confronted with the horrifying reality of what was actually going on in the thirteenth colony as the three of them stood on the roof deck facing one another. Yujin was totally incapable of picking up on anything at all from the feelings that were coming from his hands. It appeared as though he had lost all command. Even though he may have them physically, the nerves around his hands will not respond to the commands that his mind gives them in order to make them move. If things continue as they are and the monsters continue to focus their attacks on Yujin, he not only risks losing this battle, but also has a good chance of ending up dead as a result of it. The two monsters gave off the impression that they were also interested in eating Yujin alive, which is particularly concerning given the fact that he appears to be defenseless at this moment in time.At this point, Yujin did nothing but hold his ground as the two monsters approached him from a closer distance in order to confront him once more. There was no indication that he was planning what to do or even if he intended to counter them in the same manner that he did earlier. Neithe

The alarming wail of the colony's siren could be heard throughout the entire zone once more. And Yujin was just one of the many citizens of the thirteenth colony who stood as witnesses to the deafening alarm of the siren. It appears that not a single one of the citizens who were still attempting to flee for their lives made it past the halfway point. They all turned their gaze in the direction of the broken barrier, which was where the majority of the monsters that had entered the colony earlier had entered.Yujin was one of those people who became stunned after seeing how a large monster that appeared to be similar to the species of a giant scorpion with a human head entered the broken barrier. And as soon as it entered, a beam was immediately released from its telson, which caused a line of tall infrastructure that was in its path to be destroyed. In a single moment, the concrete buildings melted away, and all that was left were the molten remnants of the structures. It didn't tak

Yujin knew very well that he couldn't just stop his assault there. While the monster was preoccupied with the excruciating pain the cedar oil had caused its eyes, Yujin went over to pick up the splintered rod.It appeared as though he had picked it up at the exact right moment because the rod had a very pointed edge. Yujin suddenly paused for a few seconds to consider his next course of action. It would be a risky move to immediately launch and skewer the rod through the monster, but he finally took a deep breath in and then launched himself forward. The monster was so preoccupied with trying to remove the cedar oil from his face that it was completely blindsided when Yujin launched his attack. Yujin then pierced the rod with its sharp end, and judging by the monster's screams of agony, it appeared that his actions had the desired effect.Yujin kept his full weight behind his effort to drive the rod further into the monster's chest. The monster tried to shake the rod out of its

Are you deaf?” as though Yujin had not even heard of the matter.Because Yujin finds the other guy's approach to be ostensibly too annoying and at the same time too carefree as well, Yujin then abruptly gave him a shrug as if trying to inflict sarcasm over the other guy's question before he responded, "Who knows, maybe yes or maybe no."However, Yujin was caught off guard when the other guys' friend suddenly struck him in the face with a blow that was quite forceful. Because it was so intense, Yujin came dangerously close to losing his balance. Yujin was almost exactly the same height as the man who punched him in the face. The man who did it was just a hair taller than Yujin himself. In addition to this, he had a solidly built body that was even more impressive than Yujin's..Even if that turned out to be the case, Yujin did not show the slightest sign of wavering in his standoff with

Aera stood there, her heart pounding in her chest, unable to fathom the words that had just escaped Doctor Karin's lips. Aera's mind raced, desperately searching for a logical explanation, but finding none. The world she thought she knew was slipping away, replaced by a surreal landscape of uncertainty and disbelief. Anticipation coursed through her veins as she yearned for the moment when Doctor Karin would, perhaps, alter her stance and align herself with her fervent desire to fix the broken pillar. The worn wooden door groaned in protest as it swung open, granting passage to Aera. She stepped into the dimly lit room, her presence casting a shadow across the worn floorboards. Doctor Karin awaited her arrival. As Aera stepped into the room, a sense of déjà vu washed over her. There, in the same spot as before, sat Doctor Karin, engrossed in a stack of books generously supplied by the stray dog headquarters.Aera pondered, her mind swirling with the possibility that it was Draken who had proposed the notion of stowing away those books within the confines of Doctor Karin's chamber. The suggestion was undeniably astute, for within the confines of that room, where Doctor Karin languished in detention, she managed to carve out precious moments to peruse those written works on a daily basis.Aera stood there, her eyes fixed on Doctor Karin, a mixture of displeasure evident on her face."It's you again," Doctor Karin, however, said, her voice tinged with a disappointment at the presenc

Aera was still processing the evaluation that Draken had provided her with earlier in the conversation. In the isolation chamber, she was the only other person there except Yujin. Her head was cluttered with unrelated ideas at the time, and almost all of them were related to Yujin. After considering all that Draken had shared with her, Aera couldn't help but feel a twinge of embarrassment when she realized that she had just recently begun to consider the possibility that Draken's explanation was accurate. It's possible that what Dr. Karin saw in Aera was the possibility of a love connection between her and Yujin. This possibility is what drives Aera to put her pride in danger in order to assist Yujin.Aera thought that this must be what Dr. Karin was thinking about her as a driving motive for assisting Yujin. After all, individuals who are in love are known to do the most unselfish things conceivable, and Aera believed that this must be what Dr. Karin was thinking about her. When Aera
