Yujin knew very well that he couldn't just stop his assault there. While the monster was preoccupied with the excruciating pain the cedar oil had caused its eyes, Yujin went over to pick up the splintered rod.

It appeared as though he had picked it up at the exact right moment because the rod had a very pointed edge. Yujin suddenly paused for a few seconds to consider his next course of action.

It would be a risky move to immediately launch and skewer the rod through the monster, but he finally took a deep breath in and then launched himself forward.

The monster was so preoccupied with trying to remove the cedar oil from his face that it was completely blindsided when Yujin launched his attack. Yujin then pierced the rod with its sharp end, and judging by the monster's screams of agony, it appeared that his actions had the desired effect.

Yujin kept his full weight behind his effort to drive the rod further into the monster's chest. The monster tried to shake the rod out of its body, but it was too late; the rod had already pierced all the way through its chest and done serious damage to its very core.

After that, Yujin made a hasty exit from the monster as soon as he became aware of some strange behavior being exhibited by the monster. He did this as soon as he realized that the monster was acting in an unusual manner.

The monster’s entire body is gradually transforming into ash gray color, making it look like a stone.

And right in front of Yujin’s very eyes, the body of the S-tier monster exploded in an instant. Ashes from the fire rose into the sky, which was otherwise clear, and a light dusting of grains fell all over him.

The grains that had accumulated in the air suddenly formed into the shape of an orb that suddenly emerged. It was giving off an eerie vibe, which not only piqued Yujin's curiosity about what it was, but also made him feel uneasy.

Yujin used the rod that was lying on the ground to strike the orb as soon as he saw it because he was afraid that it was still some kind of body part from the S-tier monster that he had just defeated.

Yujin failed to notice that the orb was instantly repelled the moment the rod made contact with it, and that the impact caused the orb to bounce several times on the ground.

Unpredictably, Yujin's chest was the initial spot where the orb landed. He tried to pull the orb out of his chest but it was stuck there like it was made of some kind of sticky rubber..

Even worse was the fact that the more Yujin tried to pull it off of him, the more it fought back by countering his efforts by digging deeper into Yujin's skin. It left him with an uneasy sensation that he couldn't shake. Yujin had the sensation that a hot rod was trying to penetrate between his chest.

Yujin let out a scream of agony as the orb continued to make its way inside of his body. It would appear, based on the screams of agony that were coming from Yujin, that he was not able to take the level of pain that he was currently experiencing very well.

He made an effort to exert some pressure on his chest in an effort to alleviate the pain, which was now also affecting his ability to breathe. He was beginning to exhibit signs of panic because he was afraid that if this situation continued for much longer, he would eventually suffocate to death.

Nevertheless, in spite of the fact that he was making an effort to lessen the intensity of his suffering, it appeared as though there was no way for him to actually escape this situation at this point. The fact that the pain got even worse as it lasted for longer was a much bigger problem.

Yujin was putting up with something that was steadily becoming intolerable despite the fact that it was getting worse. He did not completely give up hope that he would survive in some way. If not, those low-level monsters would have a chance of capturing him if he couldn't even stand up and run away from them..

Yujin had the sensation that he was unable to breathe normally, and he knew that he would have to continue to vigorously pat his chest in the vain expectation that whatever it was that had entered his chest would exit it.

But the orb just won't come out anymore, and it doesn't matter what he does to get it out. And then, after that, Yujin unexpectedly felt a stunning sensation after his heart suddenly pumped abnormally too loud.

It was so loud that he was afraid his heart would actually break from the strain.

Yujin had the impression that the orb had suddenly wrapped itself around his entire heart, which was the reason he had suddenly experienced that peculiar sensation. Yujin experienced anxiety for the first time in his life for no apparent reason.

He had to be fortunate at some point since, it was unusual that there was no single monster that had attacked him ever since the orb had entered his body. For some reason, he couldn’t even see a single one around.

Yujin watched as the remaining monsters walked right past him as if they hadn't seen him despite the fact that he was standing there acting as bait. To his utter surprise, not a single monster ever paid him the slightest bit of attention while he was standing there defenseless.

Suddenly, the pain went back to torture Yujin once more. And this time, it was already too much for him to tolerate even further.

Yujin immediately got down on his knees after realizing that the mysterious orb that was currently residing inside of him could cause his death at any moment. He was trembling uncontrollably while making a snide sound of laughter.

"So this is how it's going to end for me, huh?" While Yujin's hands were pressed firmly against the ground below him, he murmured something to himself.

Yujin waited calmly despite the fact that time was rapidly approaching the moment of his death. However, just as Yujin was beginning to come to terms with what appeared to be his impending demise, he suddenly became aware of shadows approaching from all directions.

When he looked up, he noticed that pieces of monsters' bodies were falling from the sky like rain all around him.

Instantaneously, he got to his feet and looked around to determine the source of the occurrence.

Yujin was taken aback when he saw a band of humans battling the monsters. They were not typical humans because they possessed extraordinary fighting abilities that were far beyond those of average humans.

They were able to easily defeat any monster that stood in their way as if they were attempting to swat a fly.

And just as Yujin was about to stand up, he suddenly became aware of someone approaching from behind him. He was instantly surprised to see three unfamiliar faces. Yujin was immediately approached by one of them, a guy, who questioned him, "Well, well...are you the one who killed that beast?”

Because it was so intense, Yujin came dangerously close to losing his balance. Yujin was almost exactly the same height as the man who punched him in the face. The man who did it was just a hair taller than Yujin himself. In addition to this, he had a solidly built body that was even more impressive than Yujin's..Even if that turned out to be the case, Yujin did not show the slightest sign of wavering in his standoff with

It wasn’t even like Yujin had any interest over the new weaponry and power upgrades he was mentioning earlier.Yujin abruptly began to feel like it was necessary for him to be able to know that fact. Especially since he had become interested in identifying how he could kill every monster that had infiltrated the colony the fastest way he could do so.“I don’t trust you.” Yujin bluntly told the guy.“Of course you won’t.” the guy said back as if initiating to mock Yujin. However, Yujin didn’t settle just like that, he wanted to make even with the conversation which was why he immediately replied, “I don’t trust you and your green hair.” as he points out the guy’s wavy green hair.Indeed the guy talking to Yujin right now does have green hair that looks like he came from a group of notorious fellows. It was a spacious flying ship that has top edge technological engines which Yujin had never seen before. After the bigger man dragged Yujin into the virtual cage, the three of them immediately began to maneuver the whole system of the ship as it launches. Yujin attempted to escape, however, the moment his hand even touched the edge of the virtual cage, he instantly felt an electrifying jolt coursed through his entire body. He saw that it radiated from the round transluc

As the ovular ship crash lands on the deck of the crystal fortress, the impact caused Yujin to collide with the energy cell that imprisons him within. And as a result, the impact electrified Yujin a couple of times. The pain that he had to endure after that impact was so unbearable that Yujin even screamed out the anguish he felt over his predicament. He felt like his entire body had gone numb. The electric shock left him feeling nothing. It was as if his entire body had been deprived of its own senses. “What happened, Olgin?” the green-haired guy abruptly asked his comrade. Olgin immediately looked at him and answered, “The system just crashed on its own, Takeru.” And despite being in a complete state of numbness, Yujin had finally discovered the name of the green-haired guy as Takeru. It doesn’t even sound nice to hear at all. Hearing even just his name makes Yujin want to throw his fist against Takeru’s face. If only things would be that easy for Yujin to do. Apparently he

As they got closer to the pillar that was floating in front of them, the four of them stopped moving and stood still. It was glowing and emanating some kind of energy, which for some reason attracted Yujin to it all of a sudden. Because the sight was so intense, he had no choice but to partially shield his eyes with his hands. "What the hell is that annoying light all about?" Yujin grumbled while simultaneously attempting to cover his eyes. Because Yujin did not have a complete understanding of the pillar's capabilities, he refrained from getting any closer to it. It was uncertain whether it would pose a threat to him, but even if it hadn't, he wasn't going to rush into it right away. On the other hand, much to his chagrin, it turned out that Takeru was the one who was drawing him closer to the pillar. And because Yujin no longer possessed the strength or resources necessary to effectively combat Takeru, he was typically in the most precarious position possible. "Where exactly are

They hadn't planned on it at all and certainly weren't looking forward to it in any way. Takeru was under the impression that there were two ways to activate the pillar. The first option was to activate the pillar through the process of activating the pillar by using their mana to infuse against the pillar. The other way would be to offer a sacrifice of one's own blood. In the event that the champion passes away before the activation of the pillar has even occurred, he may use his own blood to activate the pillar as well. The pillar will be able to identify the blood of a champion who has successfully vanquished an S-class monster, which will cause it to spin and make the weapon available to the champion. However, at this moment, all of them were in complete shock and disbelief because the pillar didn't work according to what they were expecting. Instead, after it spun around, there was an enormous light coming from its usual normal luminescence. Following the immense light that

“Hold on there…” Yujin's concentration was broken by a voice that was both seductive and endearing. He was caught off guard when Aera appeared out of nowhere and thwarted his intention to shoot Takeru next. He had not anticipated that she would do so. “Aera…” Yujin found that he couldn't stop himself from muttering louder than a whisper.. Even though it appeared to be at a relatively low volume, Aera was still able to hear it adequately. "Did you just refer to me by my name, Champion?" Aera asked with a teasing tone on her voice. The moment Yujin moved, his reflexes kicked in, instantly waking him up. He made an effort to rouse himself from the moment, but he was in danger of succumbing to Aera's alluring presence and had to fight the temptation. The exact same thing happened to him when he saw her for the first time. Aera wasn't concerned that Yujin wasn't able to provide an answer to her question because she was more focused on finding a way to prevent Yujin from aiming his ar

The emptiness hung heavy in the air, casting a shadow over his expectations. His mind wandered, contemplating the whereabouts of the other students in this moment. Yujin was left perplexed and bewildered, wondering where on earth the other students could have possibly disappeared to at this juncture. The air around her seemed to still, as if time itself had frozen in that very moment. How could this be? How could reality twist and contort in such a way? Aera's mind raced, desperately searching for a logical explanation, but finding none. The world she thought she knew was slipping away, replaced by a surreal landscape of uncertainty and disbelief. Anticipation coursed through her veins as she yearned for the moment when Doctor Karin would, perhaps, alter her stance and align herself with her fervent desire to fix the broken pillar. Doctor Karin's inquiry ignited a flicker of hope within Aera. "Yes," Aera murmured, her voice barely audible. “Yes, it is," she added, her voice tinged with a hint of hope. The words hung in the air, a delicate thread connecting them in a moment of shared understanding. Aera's response was swift, her gaze fixing upon Doctor Karin a

The worn wooden door groaned in protest as it swung open, granting passage to Aera. She stepped into the dimly lit room, her presence casting a shadow across the worn floorboards. Doctor Karin awaited her arrival. As Aera stepped into the room, a sense of déjà vu washed over her. There, in the same spot as before, sat Doctor Karin, engrossed in a stack of books generously supplied by the stray dog headquarters.Aera pondered, her mind swirling with the possibility that it was Draken who had proposed the notion of stowing away those books within the confines of Doctor Karin's chamber. The suggestion was undeniably astute, for within the confines of that room, where Doctor Karin languished in detention, she managed to carve out precious moments to peruse those written works on a daily basis.Aera stood there, her eyes fixed on Doctor Karin, a mixture of displeasure evident on her face."It's you again," Doctor Karin, however, said, her voice tinged with a disappointment at the presenc

The question hung in the air, heavy with uncertainty. The dilemma had gnawed at their resolve.“So does this mean that no matter how fervently we endeavored to aid Yujn in reclaiming his consciousness, and restoring him to his former self, it would all be in vain? Would he inevitably succumb to his monstrous nature once more?” Robalt asked. The room fell silent, the weight of their shared apprehension palpable. Each person present grappled with their own doubts, and confusion. They had witnessed the transformation firsthand, the terrifying metamorphosis that had rendered Yujn unrecognizable. It had been a harrowing sight, one that had left an indelible mark on their minds, most especially Robalt. Yet, despite the odds stacked against them, they had refused to give up. Aera stared at him, her eyes wide with disbelief. The words before her seemed too good to be true, too fantastical to be real. Doubt gnawed at her, whispering in her ear, questioning the authenticity of what lay before her. She gazed at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and skepticism. "Are you truly awake now?" she asked, her voice tinged with a hint of doubt. Aera's senses returned to her, and she mustered the courage to finally ask the question that had been lingering in her mind. Her cheeks were still tinged with a rosy hue, a telltale sign of the lingering embarrassment she felt. The memory of that impulsive kiss she had shared with Yujin played on a loop in her mind, causing her heart to flutter and her thoughts to scatter. How had she allowed herself to succumb to such a reflexive act? It was as if her body had acted independently, driven by an unseen force that she couldn't quite comprehend. Aera was still processing the evaluation that Draken had provided her with earlier in the conversation. In the isolation chamber, she was the only other person there except Yujin. Her head was cluttered with unrelated ideas at the time, and almost all of them were related to Yujin. After considering all that Draken had shared with her, Aera couldn't help but feel a twinge of embarrassment when she realized that she had just recently begun to consider the possibility that Draken's explanation was accurate. It's possible that what Dr. Karin saw in Aera was the possibility of a love connection between her and Yujin. This possibility is what drives Aera to put her pride in danger in order to assist Yujin.Aera thought that this must be what Dr. Karin was thinking about her as a driving motive for assisting Yujin. After all, individuals who are in love are known to do the most unselfish things conceivable, and Aera believed that this must be what Dr. Karin was thinking about her. When Aera
