THE SAVIOR

09 : Second assassination attempt

On the ground, Pedro had an annoying look and Imaleya smiled because it did her a lot of good to have jostled him. Then she looks at the partners of the family business and she asks them to continue the meeting without giving importance to Pedro.

" He's an idiot that I have to drag everywhere I go. Unfortunately, he's my husband and I have to live with that. " She added arrogantly, shrugging her shoulders.

Pedro meanwhile; remained silent and disoriented. He couldn't believe that Imaleya had humiliated him. Suddenly, the door opens abruptly and it was Suno SIMAO who entered the meeting room. His gaze quickly lands on Pedro who was still on the ground and then he looks at Imaleya and the associates. When these associates saw him, they all got up immediately to greet him, except Imaleya, who had her head bowed. She was handling her phone and she was very concentrated that she hadn't noticed the presence of her grandfather Suno SIMAO. After a while, Suno SIMAO asked the associates to sit down and it was only after hearing his voice that Imaleya jumped, turning her gaze towards him.

" Grandfather, did you come too? " She said, widening her eyes.

Indeed, she did not expect to see her grandfather at the office. Suddenly, she gets up from her chair and goes to her grandfather. Suno SIMAO meanwhile, frowned and turned to Pedro avoiding Imaleya. Then he helps Pedro up.

" Thank you very much sir and welcome." Pedro said trying to smile.

He wanted to make a good impression and within seconds Imaleya was uneasy as she noticed her grandfather was furious. Therefore, she was shaking with fear.

" I hope he won't scold me" she said in a low voice.

Then, Suno SIMAO advances towards the associates and greets them one by one, avoiding Imaleya. After this greeting, which only lasted a few seconds, Suno SIMAO interrupted the meeting and rescheduled it for the end of the week. Afterwards, he invites Imaleya and Pedro to his office.

***IN THE OFFICE OF SUNO SIMAO***

Indeed, Suno SIMAO was behind the door of the meeting room and he heard everything that was said. That's how he knew that Imaleya had slapped and shoved Pedro. It pissed him off so much that he decided to scold Imaleya. He couldn't fold his arms and do nothing.

" For your first day of work, you dishonor the SIMAO family. I authorize you to work with Pedro and this is how I am thanked? " He said violently, looking at Imaleya.

He had furrowed brows and a scary look. This is the first time he has spoken to Imaleya like this.

" I'm sorry grandpa." Imaleya answered shyly.

Without considering Imaleya's apology, Suno SIMAO squeezes his face and he threatens to fire her if she continues to belittle Pedro.

" But Grandpa......"

" I don't want to know anything. Pedro is your husband and you have to respect him. Yet , I advised you not to be like your father." replied Suno SIMAO, interrupting Imaleya.

Unable to bear her grandfather's anger any longer, Imaleya leaves his office and goes straight home. She was suddenly in a bad mood.

" Because of grandfather, I'm going to have to behave well towards that Pedro. I hate him so much. I would have preferred him to be already dead " she added in a low voice.

While Imaleya came home in a bad mood, Pedro was chatting in the office with Suno SIMAO.

" I know that you love your little girl Imaleya very much. I wouldn't like you to get angry with her because of me. I can't accept that sir." Pedro said tenderly

" You are now her husband and she must treat you with respect. Either she changes her behavior or I fire her. And I don't intend to change my mind." Suno SIMAO replied firmly.

After this response, Suno SIMAO changed the subject of conversation, then Pedro and he discussed this subject for a long time without noticing that the time was passing.

However, JIM was at home talking to his daughter. As soon as Imaleya got home, she told him what happened between her and Pedro at the office. Then Jim didn't like the way Suno SIMAO defended Pedro.

" First, he gives Pedro work without the opinion of the other family members, then he dares to scold you because of him? This time I think my father is making fun of our family. I simply advise you to give up wanting to be CEO of the family business." Jim said nervously.

" I'm not going to give up on this company because of Pedro. I still want to be CEO no matter what." Imaleya replied.

“ If that's your wish, then I have nothing more to say. Nevertheless, regarding Pedro, keep calm. I'm preparing a bad move for him. This time he won't get away with it.” Suno SIMAO added.

" Thank you for your support Dad." Imaleya responded enthusiastically.

After talking with her father, Imaleya went to her room and Jim came out. A few hours later, Suno SIMAO and Pedro came home. It was night and everyone was already asleep except Jim who was still outside. Thus, Suno SIMAO went directly to his room after wishing Pedro a great evening. Pedro, meanwhile, stayed in the living room because he had some documents to complete before tomorrow. These were documents given to him by Suno. After spending hours working without sleep, Pedro finally left to his room around five o'clock in the morning. Work started at 8 am and he wanted to rest a few minutes first so as not to doze off in the office.

*** AT SEVEN IN THE MORNING ***

Pedro was still sleeping until someone knocked on his bedroom door.  After hearing the noises, he jumps out of bed.

" Shit! What time is it?" he said hastily.

" It's already seven in the morning." replied Imaleya, who was behind Pedro's bedroom door.

After hearing her voice, Pedro allows her to enter.. Once inside, Imaleya apologizes for her bad behavior yesterday...

" Don't worry Imaleya. I know you don't like me. I just hope things won't be like this between us forever. Therefore, I forgive you." Pedro replied briefly.

" Thank you." She simply added.

Then she leaves Pedro's room without adding anything. Indeed, Imaleya was not really sorry for her behavior. She nevertheless apologized to appease her grandfather's heart. She didn't want to lose her position as CEO because of Pedro and she was ready to do anything to regain her grandfather's trust. Within minutes, Pedro got dressed after taking a shower. He was finally ready to leave the house when suddenly he meets Jim.

" Good morning sir." He said lowering his head.

“ Take advantage of my father's favors. The time will come and you will no longer be of this world. Believe me Pedro. I work in silence for this day to come and I am convinced that it will not last. " Jim answered violently. 

Then he frowns and he pushes Pedro. He clearly showed that he was not happy with the privileges that Pedro enjoyed since the arrival of Suno SIMAO. For his part, Pedro kept his calm and left the house. He was about to take a taxi when suddenly Imaleya parked in front of him with her car.

" Get in. We'll go to the office together like yesterday." She said simply.

Suddenly Pedro was silent for a few seconds before reacting.

" Thank you Imaleya" he replied, stepping forward to Imaleya's car .

When he opening the back door of the car and getting in, two individuals pass behind Pedro and they shoot at him. Suddenly, Pedro collapses after receiving a dozen bullets in the back. Imaleya who had witnessed this scene smiled.

" Finally that bastard is dead." She said enthusiastically.

Without further ado, she starts her car and she goes to the office leaving Pedro dying on the ground.
