Chapter 30

"Forgive me, Mr. Smith; I've tried to help you, but... I hope you understand what's happening. Mr. William is a stern person; he wants his desires fulfilled. I couldn't do anything; I must admit; he's the one who saved me from the chaos caused by Orlando."

Smith appeared to hold back his tears, and disappointment was evident in his eyes when he heard Orlando's name mentioned by Andrew.

Smith embraced Andrew. Their meeting in Andrew's room was quite warm, and Andrew's sympathy for Smith grew stronger.

"If only I had been wiser, things wouldn't have gone this far. I deeply regret it, Andrew. I know you're a very good person; how could you have committed the crimes Orlando accused you of?"

The 63-year-old man's sobbing only made Andrew feel more guilty for William's actions.

Andrew then tried to give Smith a little strength to calm him down. He gently rubbed Smith's back, and a ray of light emerged from between his fingers and entered the middle-aged man's body.
