Too Unholy

Enzo wore the helmet to avoid anyone noticing him; he had to drive to a safe place, and the only place he knew was his home, the orphanage.

They will always protect him there. He drove to the orphanage and knocked on the gates.

The security man noticed that it was Enzo; he immediately opened the gates for him to drive in and also informed the nuns that Enzo was there.

They all hurried downstairs as Sister Jackie hugged him tightly while in tears. They had all seen the news, but they knew Enzo was innocent, so they had been praying since morning.

"Enzo, my dear," Sister Jackie called while crying, and Enzo hugged her tightly as he glared at his siblings from the orphanage and other nuns. He had grown up in a Catholic orphanage, where he was taught all about our fathers and Mary, so how would he dare be a serial killer?

“I am fine; everything will be fine,” he assured them.

“Let’s go in first; he must be tired." Sister Nadia said, and they all agreed. So they walked in with Enzo while the kids followed him.

The little Jack pushed his wheelchair towards him. “My Hero,” he called out, and Enzo glared at him. That’s the name all the kids at the orphanage called him.

Enzo smiled painfully, but only if they knew that their hero was now considered a serial killer. “How are you, genius? I will talk to the sisters for a while before coming to you, okay?” he asked, and the kid nodded.

So Enzo walked to Sister Jackie’s office, and Nadia decided to bring some food and coffee for Enzo. It was obvious he hadn’t eaten since morning.

“Enzo, what's happening? I called Leo to find out, and he told me, You are a serial killer, and we should all be wary of you; you are not the SHADOW, so why are you blamed?” She asked, and Enzo smiled.

All he needed was someone who trusted him, and Sister Jackie did. She was in her seventies and was also the woman who raised them. She was in charge of the orphanage and had picked him up by the fountain crying when he was four years old. That’s why that fountain is important to him.

“Aunt, I am not the SHADOW, but I know him. It's my twin brother; he looks like me,” Enzo explained, and Jackie nodded in understanding.

The day he had seen Enzo by the fountain, there was also another boy who looked like him. The boy was covered in blood, and before she could reach close to the fountain, the boy ran at full speed. Then he knew that Enzo had a twin who looked like him.

“God will never forgive me." Sister Jackie said it in a tone filled with regret, and Enzo couldn’t understand.

“I let that child go; I let him go into the world, and now he has become an agent of the devil. I should have followed him,” she said in a painful tone, and Enzo frowned.

“You know about my twin brother?” he asked, and Jackie nodded.

“Why don’t I know about him? Why does no one know about him?” he asked angrily.

“Because no one is supposed to know, God led me to you. and if I told the security that I found you covered in blood, then there would have been an investigation. You were just a kid and were already traumatized.

“I couldn’t take you both; your brother ran away before I could get any close... and I also had to leave urgently with you before the police arrived. Your mother told me to... Jackie revealed the events that happened that day, and Enzo was shocked.

His mother? He always believed his mother had abandoned him, and that’s why he found himself here, but after Jackie’s explanation... He got to discover that the house beside the fountain belonged to them, and there was an attack in which his mother was killed.

Then they were about to kill him and his brother, but somehow they managed to escape and were separated. But why doesn’t he remember anything?

Sister Nadia rushed in with some sandwiches wrapped in nylon paper. “Son, the cops are at the gate,” she said, and Enzo nodded. Of course, Leo was able to track him here.

Then there was an incoming call from the phone he took on the bike. “Do you still not need my help?” Antonio asked, and Enzo glared at Jackie.

“It’s him,” he said, and Jackie seized the phone from him before placing a loudspeaker.

"Son," she was saying when Antonio’s voice followed.

“I am too unholy to speak to you, Jackie. Your services in taking care of my brother are over; now he needs to go back home. We need to go back home,” Antonio said, and Enzo frowned. This man knew about everything happening in his life and also about everyone surrounding him.

“Now, Enzo. Pick the phone and make a hundred and eighty degrees from the door to the backdoor; hurry up,” Antonio said and hung up.

Jackie sighed. He was about to convince Antonio to give up and surrender so that God could cleanse his sin.

“We will stop Leo at the gate, no matter what. Don’t be like your brother; fight for justice,” Jackie said before walking out of the office.

“Come on, son, eat that. You will need the energy,” Nadia said, pointing at the sandwich she had wrapped. Enzo nodded as he picked up the phone and rushed out of the office.

At the gate, the guard refused to open the gate for anyone to come in, and this made Leo understand that it was because Enzo was inside.

"Aunt,” Leo called out when he saw Jackie walk towards them.

Jackie glared around and saw the large amount of army force Leo brought to catch Enzo.

“What is happening?” she asked.

“Let us get Enzo; he is a dangerous person and could harm you guys.” Leo tried to understand her.

"No, I won't let your friends in here. You are free to enter if you want to because this is your home, but before coming in, Keep those demonic weapons outside,” she said with a serious tone, and Leo nodded.

He knew it was going to be difficult; besides, he had a short gun in his pocket and could always protect himself.

“I will go in; stand on guard,” Leo said to his team before walking in after the guard opened the gate for him.

Leo glanced around and noticed Enzo’s bike. “Aunt, where is he?” he asked.

“Shouldn’t you be the one protecting him? Have you forgotten our moto, brought by fate and bound by blood?” she said, and Leo sighed.

As usual, Jackie was taking Enzo’s side again. Then Leo noticed Enzo rushing to the back gate. “You shouldn’t have let him escape,” Leo said angrily as he turned towards his men.

“Surround the whole building,” he said, taking out his short gun before loading it.

“Leo…” Jackie called out, but Leo didn’t listen. He hurried to the back gate to follow Enzo. Be it one-on-one combat, he was not going to let Enzo escape.

When he arrived behind him, his eyes widened in shock as he noticed those men on bikes. How did they get here? The first thing he did was stare at himself, and he sighed in relief, seeing there was no red dot laser on him.

“You are safe,” Antonio said as he walked closer to Enzo, then he took off his face cap.

Leo was taken aback; there were two Enzo's. “Hello Leonardo, I am the Shadow," Antonio said, seeing that Antonio had already revealed himself.

Enzo saw this as an opportunity; now Leo knew he had a twin brother, so he was going to tell the others. They will all know he is innocent.

“Before doing anything, remember where we are,” Antonio threatened Enzo. He knew his brother was going to use this as an opportunity to escape.

Leo pointed his gun towards them. Antonio chuckled and pointed at Leo’s feet.

“You are standing on a claymore mine,” he said, and Leo was shocked, as was Enzo as well. When was a mine planted here, and why?

Leo glared down and realized he was indeed standing on something; if it was on a mine, then a little movement from him might kill him and everyone here.

“You planted a mine at the orphanage," Enzo said in disbelief, Was he planning to kill everyone?

“We have a long journey ahead; let's go,” Antonio said as he walked to the bike. Enzo hesitated on whether to go or not. Because he was concerned about everyone at the orphanage, including his friend Leo.

“Nothing will happen to them; I give my word,” Antonio said, and Enzo felt he could trust this man, so he got on the bike.

“You won't escape this,” Leo swore angrily.

“Come on, come catch us,” Antonio said mockingly as he rode away with his men.

Just then, Leo’s team arrived. “Get someone to deactivate a mine; I am standing on a mine,” Leo said while trembling.

“I can do that,” one of his men said as he walked forward.

“Are you sure? We could all die here,” Leo asked, and his team members all had a nervous breakdown. They needed a break from all this chasing.

The man nodded confidently before he crouched down after taking a proper look. He sighed and glared at Leo.

"Sir, you are standing on a stick,” he said, and Leo’s eyes widened in shock.
