006.

He balled his fist at the mention of that name. His mother noticed his countenance changed.

"What's wrong? You know him?"

"Of course I know him and he will not step foot inside father's company. He's a prick and has always bullied. He was the one that destroyed my gizmo besides he's not good. He has his father do most of his projects for him! He will not work for us", Felix raged.

His mom smiled.

She thought it was something more serious, "is that all? Honey it's your company. Personalize it", she smiled, "and your wish is my command. We'll cut off every connection with their family. Will that do?"

Felix nodded in satisfaction.

Kelvin had to pay for all the humiliations he's put him through.

Laurel stepped out. She had had her bathe and changed into a nightie.

"C'mon felix. She's my friend too. Go in and sleep. It's girl's time", she pouted and Felix smiled.

"Yes mom", he bit his lips, "I mean ...aunt Laurel".

Andrea would surely not pick an offense. He had grown to seeing and knowing Laurel as his mom. It would take time.

"How about skipping school tomorrow. We could go shopping for new parts and make your project together?"Andrea offered.

"It is definitely not cheating. Just a bonding time", she smiled and Felix chuckled.

"Okay mother" he stood and kissed her cheek for the first time.

"Goodnight", he left the females and went into the room..

His life had changed in just a night. He definitely would sleep with a big smile plastered to his face. He was already forgetting all he went through all these years, just in one night.

Wealth surely felt good. Wealth is power.

Felix slowly opened his eyes. He was awake.

The room looked unfamiliar, the sweet scent that blessed the atmosphere was intoxicating enough to send him back to dream land.

He looked around.

All that happened last night was real!

He smiled to himself. He turned and his eyes met with the table clock.

"10:15?!" He sat up with a start.

How did he sleep that long? But everywhere looked dark?

He climbed out of bed and rushed towards the window. He drew the curtains aside with force and the bright light from the sun that greeted his face was enough to blind him.

"Luxury", he smiled and shook his head.

He didn't have such thick curtains at home, the sun rays would have definitely filled his room since 7am.

He was happy. He couldn't stop smiling.

He did a few stretches and stepped into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth and stepped out of the room. The sight that greeted him at the living room was funny.

The two drunken women had fallen asleep on each other while gossiping and drinking.

Laurel still held her glass in hand.

He chuckled and took out his phone. He took a picture of them and cleared the place.

He left them there and went into the kitchen with the intention of making breakfast for them especially his mom.

But there was nothing there.

The fridge was surely stocked with water and other beverages and fruits but there's nothing else.

He decided to order breakfast.

He had never done it yet but he owned the place right. He'd better start living like it.

He took hold of the telephone and dialled room service. It was a success. He ordered breakfast but the rapid beating of heart was something to laugh about.

He stepped into the living room, they had woken up but were still hungover. Their hair was a mess.

He laughed out loud.

"Hey don't laugh!" Laurel snapped but he couldn't help it.

"You both are behaving like teenagers", he chuckled.

"Laugh all you want", Andrea scoffed.

"Goodmorning mom. Goodmorning Aunt Laurel" he greeted.

"How was your night baby?" Andrea asked.

"Best in years", he smiled and she was sincerely happy she could give him that.

"I've ordered breakfast though. You both should go in and help yourself", he giggled.

"Yeah", Laurel yawned widely.

They both stood but fell back immediately.

"You didn't even go clubbing", he laughed.

They ignored him and staggered their ways in.

Breakfast arrived and they ate. Laurel left. She still had things to attend to though she was still hungover.

"It's really glad to wake up to your face", Andrea smiled.

"I feel the same way", Felix attested sincerely.

"So where do we start for the day?" She asked excitedly.

"The parts."

"Yeah. And after that, we'd go shopping. We'd make more list as the day goes on", she giggled happy to spend time with her son. She had texted her husband yesterday but when he was free and called last night. Felix had already slept.

She went in and took her bad and car keys.

"Let's go", she said to him and they left, taking the elevator down to the ground floor and straight to the parking lot. They zoomed off.

"I heard they sell the best here", his mom muttered as she parked in.

It wasn't a lie. Gears&Metals Depot has always been the best for anything original but he couldn't afford it back then. He remembered always passing by and looking in.

They alighted but his mother's phone rang.

She gave him a sign to go on in, she'd meet him inside.

He nodded and went in to feed his eyes.

The way things were arranged stunned him. The place was actually bigger than he envisioned.

It was so complete. They had many and everything. He could already see multiple things he could create with the gears in here.

"That's your last warning!" He heard a yell.

Felix turned sharply and a man came walking towards him. He could see the worker he had just yelled at fidgeting in fear.

"He must be the manager", Felix made a mental note.

"And how did you get in here? Are you trying to steal?" The man glared daggers at him.

Felix was stunned at his outburst but he calmed his nerves. He concluded the man was just transferring aggression from whatever his staff might have done onto him.

"Goodmorning", he greeted.

"You did not answer my question boy. You look like a highschooler. Shouldn't you be in class? Who sent you?" He bombarded Felix with questions.

"I just came to buy a few parts for a project", Felix answered innocently.

The man trailed his eyes over Felix's stature and he let out a gruff.

He grabbed Felix by the hand, "have you stolen already?" He began patting Felix forcefully, looking for only God knows what.

Felix managed to free himself from the man's grip. He pushed him away .

"Is that how you treat customers here?" Felix was angry.

"I know customers when I see one. Now scurry on out of here while I'm still nice. You can't possibly afford anything in here and I won't let thieves roam my shop", he warned.

"Thieves? A thief? Is that what you're addressing me as?"

"Secur..."

He was about to call on security when Andrea walked in.

"What's going on in here?"

"Mrs Stark", the man gasped.
