He balled his fist at the mention of that name. His mother noticed his countenance changed.
"What's wrong? You know him?"
"Of course I know him and he will not step foot inside father's company. He's a prick and has always bullied. He was the one that destroyed my gizmo besides he's not good. He has his father do most of his projects for him! He will not work for us", Felix raged.
His mom smiled.
She thought it was something more serious, "is that all? Honey it's your company. Personalize it", she smiled, "and your wish is my command. We'll cut off every connection with their family. Will that do?"
Felix nodded in satisfaction.
Kelvin had to pay for all the humiliations he's put him through.
Laurel stepped out. She had had her bathe and changed into a nightie.
"C'mon felix. She's my friend too. Go in and sleep. It's girl's time", she pouted and Felix smiled.
"Yes mom", he bit his lips, "I mean ...aunt Laurel".
Andrea would surely not pick an offense. He had grown to seeing and knowing Laurel as his mom. It would take time.
"How about skipping school tomorrow. We could go shopping for new parts and make your project together?"Andrea offered.
"It is definitely not cheating. Just a bonding time", she smiled and Felix chuckled.
"Okay mother" he stood and kissed her cheek for the first time.
"Goodnight", he left the females and went into the room..
His life had changed in just a night. He definitely would sleep with a big smile plastered to his face. He was already forgetting all he went through all these years, just in one night.
Wealth surely felt good. Wealth is power.

Felix slowly opened his eyes. He was awake.
The room looked unfamiliar, the sweet scent that blessed the atmosphere was intoxicating enough to send him back to dream land.
He looked around.
All that happened last night was real!
He smiled to himself. He turned and his eyes met with the table clock.
"10:15?!" He sat up with a start.
How did he sleep that long? But everywhere looked dark?
He climbed out of bed and rushed towards the window. He drew the curtains aside with force and the bright light from the sun that greeted his face was enough to blind him.
"Luxury", he smiled and shook his head.
He didn't have such thick curtains at home, the sun rays would have definitely filled his room since 7am.
He was happy. He couldn't stop smiling.
He did a few stretches and stepped into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth and stepped out of the room. The sight that greeted him at the living room was funny.
The two drunken women had fallen asleep on each other while gossiping and drinking.
Laurel still held her glass in hand.
He chuckled and took out his phone. He took a picture of them and cleared the place.
He left them there and went into the kitchen with the intention of making breakfast for them especially his mom.
But there was nothing there.
The fridge was surely stocked with water and other beverages and fruits but there's nothing else.
He decided to order breakfast.
He had never done it yet but he owned the place right. He'd better start living like it.
He took hold of the telephone and dialled room service. It was a success. He ordered breakfast but the rapid beating of heart was something to laugh about.
He stepped into the living room, they had woken up but were still hungover. Their hair was a mess.
He laughed out loud.
"Hey don't laugh!" Laurel snapped but he couldn't help it.
"You both are behaving like teenagers", he chuckled.
"Laugh all you want", Andrea scoffed.
"Goodmorning mom. Goodmorning Aunt Laurel" he greeted.
"How was your night baby?" Andrea asked.
"Best in years", he smiled and she was sincerely happy she could give him that.
"I've ordered breakfast though. You both should go in and help yourself", he giggled.
"Yeah", Laurel yawned widely.
They both stood but fell back immediately.
"You didn't even go clubbing", he laughed.
They ignored him and staggered their ways in.
Breakfast arrived and they ate. Laurel left. She still had things to attend to though she was still hungover.
"It's really glad to wake up to your face", Andrea smiled.
"I feel the same way", Felix attested sincerely.
"So where do we start for the day?" She asked excitedly.
"The parts."
"Yeah. And after that, we'd go shopping. We'd make more list as the day goes on", she giggled happy to spend time with her son. She had texted her husband yesterday but when he was free and called last night. Felix had already slept.
She went in and took her bad and car keys.
"Let's go", she said to him and they left, taking the elevator down to the ground floor and straight to the parking lot. They zoomed off.
"I heard they sell the best here", his mom muttered as she parked in.
It wasn't a lie. Gears&Metals Depot has always been the best for anything original but he couldn't afford it back then. He remembered always passing by and looking in.
They alighted but his mother's phone rang.
She gave him a sign to go on in, she'd meet him inside.
He nodded and went in to feed his eyes.
The way things were arranged stunned him. The place was actually bigger than he envisioned.
It was so complete. They had many and everything. He could already see multiple things he could create with the gears in here.
"That's your last warning!" He heard a yell.
Felix turned sharply and a man came walking towards him. He could see the worker he had just yelled at fidgeting in fear.
"He must be the manager", Felix made a mental note.
"And how did you get in here? Are you trying to steal?" The man glared daggers at him.
Felix was stunned at his outburst but he calmed his nerves. He concluded the man was just transferring aggression from whatever his staff might have done onto him.
"Goodmorning", he greeted.
"You did not answer my question boy. You look like a highschooler. Shouldn't you be in class? Who sent you?" He bombarded Felix with questions.
"I just came to buy a few parts for a project", Felix answered innocently.
The man trailed his eyes over Felix's stature and he let out a gruff.
He grabbed Felix by the hand, "have you stolen already?" He began patting Felix forcefully, looking for only God knows what.
Felix managed to free himself from the man's grip. He pushed him away .
"Is that how you treat customers here?" Felix was angry.
"I know customers when I see one. Now scurry on out of here while I'm still nice. You can't possibly afford anything in here and I won't let thieves roam my shop", he warned.
"Thieves? A thief? Is that what you're addressing me as?"
"Secur..."
He was about to call on security when Andrea walked in.
"What's going on in here?"
"Mrs Stark", the man gasped.
Felix smirked. He even knew his mom. He's so dead."I didn't know you were in town", he smiled."Nice to see you too Arthur", she said."Son, you couldn't find what you needed?" She asked and Felix could see Arthur's eye widened. He pleaded with him with his eyes. Felix only grinned wider. He was enjoying this. Her phone rang again and she picked up, "what's it this time?" She groaned and stepped out.The man rushed to him and held his hand."Sir. Please forgive me. I must have been high on something. I overreacted. Please show mercy. Pick anything you want. Anything at all. It's on the house", he pleaded."Get your hands off me", Felix scoffed, "and I have enough money to fund whatever it is I want to buy", he scoffed, "but I'd rather take my money elsewhere".Andrea walked back in."Mom let's leave", Felix said."Arthur what happened?" She asked."Do you know him mom?" Felix asked "Yes. We helped start up this business. He's a friend. Any problem?" She asked. The man was at the ver
They were all seated and Andrea began by introducing herself."I'm Andrea Stark", she announced loud enough and a few people did turn to stare at Felix because of the last name but it couldn't be possible. They didn't even look alike and besides, they've known poor Felix for years. They returned their attention back to the woman in front. She kept talking and explained her purpose for being at their school."It's a program we hold every three years and normally isn't for high schoolers but we've decided to give you all a chance and it's all thanks to Mr. Cooper here who picked out your school and I'm very pleased with what I see", she said and the students beamed with smiles."Please, feel free when I get to your table", she said and the inspection began. She asked a few questions and the student answered. She had gone past five tables and hadn't picked anyone yet. She got to the sixth table and was intrigued. She asked the girl a few questions and she demonstrated and answered as exp
"you should speak to her too. I cannot work with this trash", he glared at Felix."You won't be working anywhere at all you foolish boy!!!" Everyone gasped "Couldn't you have simply memorized the parts?!!!! You didn't go through the stress of making it! All you had to do was learn!!! Learn!!" He yelled angrily."Dad you're embarrassing me here. I learnt all Mrs Gladys thought me".Everyone gasped again.Mr. Cooper turned to the fear-stricken woman."I paid you did I not?" He looked like a ferocious wolf as he strode towards Mrs Gladys."I made the Gizmo and I thought him according to the answers of the questions", she said."Kelvin cheated?""I can't believe this""Rich people are the worst"."Mrs Gladys is simply stupid"The students murmured amongst themselves.Kelvin ignored them and matched forward. Some students already had their phone's out."Dad, you don't have to do this you can simply call the owner..." A stinging slap cut his statement. His dad had never slapped him. A fe
Felix was cautious enough to not hang his jaw in awe as he stared on. The maids rushed to them. One taking his mom's handbag from her and another taking his bag from him."Welcome home young master", they all bowed."Yes. Welcome", Andrea smiled at her son. In that moment, Luca was descending the stairs."Dad", Felix mouthed and rushed to him, the two males hugged it out."It's good to finally have you home", he roughed his son's hair."Why do you both always do that", Felix groaned as he arranged his hair. They both chuckled including the maids that stood around."Old habits", Andrea chuckled."It's something we loved doing and you enjoyed it as a kid", Luca drew his son close."Well I'm not a kid anymore, am I?" Felix smiled."He's just as stubborn as you", Andrea smiled with teary eyes."Don't even dare let those tears out", he let go of Felix and held his wife. "We are together once again. After a long while. Nothing is separating us now", he said and kissed her lips."Son, you
Andrea and Luca stared at their 18-year-old."No, don't get me wrong", Felix chuckled."I just want to be treated like the others so I can learn all I need to. I don't need any special treatment or make others uncomfortable around me and maybe.. I think I should change my last name too"."Change your last name? Son..."No mom... I should. It's enough I look like dad. Now walking in there with the name - Stark, it won't be a matter of time before someone gets curious, probably follow me home and the whole thing goes kaboom", Felix said.Luca just stared at his son, the way he articulated things told him he'd be leaving his legacy and all he's acquired in the perfect hands.Luca sighed aloud, "fine"."Thanks dad"."I can get you an apartment and appoint a maid...."I can't live with a female!", Felix cut his father off.. "just yet", he almost blushed.Andrea chuckled."I never said she was going to live with you", Luca passed him a warm smile, "she'd do the cooking and cleaning. But you
Felix looked down at himself. All he had on was a black jean and his white polo. What was wrong with that?Victor shook his head and threw his tag at him."Now you all have your tags, it's about to get real. I need fast thinkers and analyzers. You're officially a worker here asides you don't get paid", he joked and his colleagues laughed obviously asides the interns."So I'd advice you take your job seriously if you don't want to be thrown out. Those are your tables", he pointed to the end of the room, that had a large table but was demarcated and then chairs around it."I'll give you two to settle in after that, get ready to be useful", he finished his speech and left them.No one bothered giving them a tour or anything. The interns made their way to the table and all sat down.Felix was seated beside Addison on his right and Marcus on his left. In total they were four guys and two girls. There was a computer before all of them. Felix was excited."Hey you!" One of the workers pointe
"Forgive me sir. I would be more careful", he bows to his father. Luca was anger stricken, "look up", he said. Felix looked up slowly. "What happened here?", he asked. Felix bit his lips. He didn't know what to say. He didn't want his dad to get more angry. "I asked a question?" Luca voiced calmly. "Sir, he was just being careless...." "I don't remember asking you Mr. Kim", he turned back to Felix, "tell me". Felix bowed his head as he spoke, "It's my first day, I made a few mistakes". He said. "Were all interns given a tour?", he asked and every where was silent. Felix looked to the side to see Addison staring back at him. "I asked a question!" His voice escalated. "Not.. not yet sir", Victor stammered. "Do you love your job?" *Gulp "How do you expect them to know their way around this place! I still remember how incompetent you were when you began working here Mr Kim and it's not like you've improved much", Luca said with a straight face. Victor balled his fist and c
Neither Edward nor Felix was expecting the bell ring at the door. Penelope had already prepared dinner and left, so who could it be? Edward stood and went to open it. "Lord Luca", he bowed immediately. Felix stood at the mention of his father's name, "Dad", he called surprised. "Since you've refused to come home, I came to you", Luca said. "What if someone followed you?" "No one did, I came in a cab anyway". Luca took off his cap and sat on the couch. "How was your first day?" Luca asked and Felix stared at Edward that was standing at the corner of the room. "It was good I guess". "You want them fired?" "Dad", Felix chuckled, "they've done nothing yet and they are good at their job". "Their competence doesn't make up for any right to slapping my son", Luca was still angry. "You should be at home with mom", Felix decided to change topic. "Well, she's obviously not satisfied with girl's night she had two weeks ago. She went back to Ravenwood, she should be back tonight thou
