“Is everyone okay?”

“I am,”

“Me too,”

Voices cut through the tumultuous atmosphere. The three fallen demi-gods rose— and their eyes flashed a bit gaining some light in them. They looked at each other.

By some miracle, they had survived the unimaginable.

They had underestimated the power of Linux.

She decimated them and turned their world into nothingness.

Midas looked around confused; he was not sure where they were, he looked at Alucard and Lily. The confusion on his face increased as he saw their appearances.

This was not how they looked the last time. They were different people altogether.

Lily saw the look Midas was giving them, she too was confused about why the man looked like that. He had the voice of Midas yet the body was different, she looked at her partner and voiced her thoughts.

“Why are you guys looking like that? I can hear the voices, they belong to you but your appearances are different,”

Alucard hummed, he knew from Dracula that they unlike the rest of thei

Alucard returned to normal as Dracula receded into his subconsciousness. He looked at Lily and Midas, the god who had attacked them and hindered their plan to meet Aether. Their main goal was imperative they warn him of Linux. The trio knew that Linux was going for Aether since he vanished after she captured him. “Lily, can you track down Aether?” Alucard asked as he approached the two on the tree. Lily nodded, she closed her eyes and focused on her Qi sensing. The strengthened Qi allowed her to scan wider ranges, jumping from island to island. She opened her eyes; a triumphant smile visible on her face. “I found him” Alucard nodded as he helped the woman down from the tree. They were left with going to the man who was their only hope. They knew that this war-torn world was going to be a burial ground if they did not stop Linux. They tried and failed horribly. “Can you open a gateway to them?” Alucard asked. Lily nodded and closed her eyes, the water around them gained a fo

Zeyus emerged from the explosion with scars all over his body; he was not amused, and the man gave him another reason to be angry. He was treating him as if he was an angry child who had his toy taken away. Zeyus turned his attention to Arthur who was relaxing on the pillar behind him. He closed his eyes, finally getting his anger under control. There was no use to be angry, Ares lived how he wanted and he died.A tough pill to swallow. Zeyus knew one thing, to get his revenge he had to think and orchestrate his plans rationally— He knew from the days of his father, Cronus that agitation and irrational thinking lead to flawed judgment. Chuckling to himself, Zeyus closed his eyes and began channeling the magical essence in his body. It was time to show the man before him why he was the king of the gods of Olympus. Arthur witnessed the sudden change in demeanor; the god before him had gotten over his anger, but not entirely Arthur could still see the flaring hatred in the god befor

Every eye in the throne room turned to the door, the owner of the hammer coming through the large oak doors. Unlike every god they had met, this one was not old— he looked like he was in his early 30s spotting long brown hair, prominent sideburns, and green eyes. The incoming man wore black armor made from scales and around his shoulders was a cape made from snakeskin. He stepped into the middle of the room, before him were Arthur's friends, and behind them was the council of Granger. Granger smirked, he got up to his feet. The throne rose with him and he sat down. “Glad you could make it Odinson,” Granger said placing his hand on the armrest of the throne. Odinson nodded, he wanted to help. Ever since he got control of Asgard from the reign of his father Odinson II he had been looking to fight at the behest of the man who helped him. He felt unimaginable zeal when he informed that his assistance was required by the King of all kings, the king of the kings of the gods Granger. T

Odinson gasped for a moment, blood escaping through his mouth. He was in a perilous situation, the man before him had his heart in his hand but amid the peril, Odinson found it funny. He thought he had him checkmate as if he was going to die. Truly amusing. He did not fight his father just to be defeated by a lesser being, not without him giving his very best in the fight. He intentionally allowed the latter to pierce his chest and make his way to his head, he wanted to show him that a God such as him needed no heart to survive. Midas looked at the laughing man, maybe he finally went insane and started laughing when he saw death. He clutched his hand tighter expecting the latter whose heart was in his hand to start flinching and coughing but to his surprise, he did not do as he had anticipated. The psychopathic smirk remained on Odinson's face as he allowed his Qi, the full extent of it to run rampant accessing the Son force— a powerful cosmic power that engulfed the land and Mid

[WARNING: MATURE CONTENT] Lily gracefully landed on the ground and two things became clear to her, the ground beneath her was not stable, it was a bit wobbly and it made her feet sink into the ground. The intense heat struck her skin, she was in a desert and a couple of feet away was a woman she had followed when Midas separated everyone. She had long blonde hair and a striking pair of crimson eyes, that looked like rubies from a distance. She wore a dull armor set atop her blue blouse and a sword was strapped to her waist. Arthurian Saber The III looked at the woman before her, Her companion had managed to get rid of them to give their friend a moment with her master. Arthurian knew that Odinson although as powerful as he was, would lose to the man who separated them. She knew every knight was going to lose including her. It was a sense of foreboding she got from the group that made her think this way. It felt like nothing she had ever felt, it was potent and from how their bos

Evangelist stared at her opponent from a distance, she was not fully recovered from fighting Sing and Grandine earlier, though she had to fight for the one she loved, to ensure that he gets to his goals without anything impeding them. The legion of Granger included. She had to give it to the one called Midas, he was precise with his placement of portals. He had placed them in a place she would be able to access a majority of her power including Sing's without hindrances. The battlefield was a swamp, the vegetation blossomed from the presence of both fighters as their Qi was nourishment to the surroundings. Nudt stared at his counterpart, his dark eyes unimpressed by the amount of Qi the woman was radiating, he found it hard to believe that, the woman before him was the one who had defeated Sing, one of Grandine's powerful henchman alongside her child. He found himself intrigued by what happened to Sing because whenever he took a sniff of the atmosphere he got the scent of Sing flo

Standing near the foliage on the mountain peak was a young man standing at 5 foot 7 inches, he wore Israeli clothing consisting of a white blouse shirt, strap-on sandals, and a large coat above. On his waist was a rope that had a small bag connected to it. He was David, the one who had a blessing from the all-father. Also known as the Goliath Slayer. Alucard peered at the man standing before him, he was not that impressive. His body physique was average at best, with no defining muscle structure but there was something about the man that made him take the fight seriously. As the explosion died down, a bruised Arthur and Linux stood near the edge roots of energy. They held their breaths, anticipating to see the product of their combined effort to defeat the adversary before them. “Insolent fools,” Arodis's voice pierced through the dimensional rift as the last bit of energy circulating where he was dissipated. Arthur and Linux were astounded at the resilience the mechanical monster before them had, the attacks were enough to shake the void realm they were in and cause destruction on a greater scale and yet the target of their attacks only suffered getting his right side blown away. Their shock did not last long as the Qi levels started to rapidly rise, skyrocketing to a point the dimensional rift showed cracks in its edges. “Something is coming” Arthur informed his new comrade. Linux nodded, she could feel the foul Qi resonating around them. Having been connected to the Source, it made it easier for her to detect presences linked to Oblivion. Arod

Arthur spectated the interaction until the towering mechanical being hit Linux, he tightened his grip around his sword. Even if the woman was a menace and a thorn in his side, Arthur was not going to stand by and watch her get hurt. He dashes over to Linux and caught her. His gesture startled the woman who was unsure of what to do. She had been trying to ruin him at every chance she got and yet he was there to rescue her when she needed help. Why? Why was he so selfless? Everything was because of her, he lost everything. His friends, his reality, and his home world all because she was following a fool's goal. Linux looked at Arthur, “Why did you help me?” Arthur acknowledged her question but never paid attention to her. His eyes were focused on Arodis, the speed the latter had struck Linux with was something they had yet to deal with. His vision could not track the hand movement of Arodis until Linux was hit and Arthur was positive that he could track even light moving through

Linux dashed forward and delivered a roundhouse kick to Arthur, the latter blocked the attack with his right forearm and used his left hand to grab Linux's ankle. Arthur twisted his body around generating enough momentum to send Linux flying but instead of releasing his grasp, he smashed the latter on the ground creating a large crater with Linux's body. He was not done, he stabbed his sword near Linux's face and chuckled. The woman was as fast as ever, she managed to narrowly avoid his attack by just an inch when she moved her head. But it did not matter to Arthur, he still had a hold on her ankle. Or so he thought. Linux kicked Arthur on the chin making the latter stagger backward, slightly disoriented from the power behind the blow. Arthur regained his bearing and launched his attack; the black sword in his hand acting as an extension of his reach as he swung it in an attempt to slice through the woman. Linux was nimble on her feet, she easily evaded a majority of the attack

[Where am I?] [You are locked in the subconscious of your mind by Linux, right now the person using our body is not you.][I... See. So what are we going to do Aether?] [The only thing we had been doing ever since, we fight! With all our strength, I have a feeling that our salvation is coming.] Arthur nodded as he looked at Aether, the main conscience behind his actions. It had been a couple of months, maybe a year, since they last, sat down and had a conversation. [So what's going to happen once you complete your goal? Are you going to return to your home world?] Aether shook his head. There's no world to return to, everything was destroyed by Linux's wrath. He clutched his fists tightly and bit his lip. He was useless. He could not protect what his forefathers gave their lives to protect. He did not deserve to be a sorcerer Supreme. Sanz was better suited for the role but his lack of magical prowess got in the way. Aether has to admit something he had been running from. He

Dante dashed forward, crossing the distance between him and the controlled Arthur in a second. He appeared behind Arthur after he relocated and kicked the latter in the back with enough force to shatter the spine of Arthur. Arthur felt his insides grind up from the attack, it was as if his back was being pressed against his stomach. He could feel the bones cracking from the internal pressure. Arthur staggered forward from the kick and turned around only to receive a boot to the chin uprooting him from his feet, launching him into the air. Arthur saw the blade and covered his most vulnerable part by bringing his head forward, the Chakram cut through his left eye as it narrowly missed his neck. As Evangelist screamed in the illusion world, her screams escaped her mouth startling the others with her. The woman writhing at their feet startled them, they looked at the woman who was holding her head and looked at Arthur. “What did you do to her?” Lily asked looking at Arthur as she cradled Evangelist in her arms. Concern for the woman flashed in her eyes. She saw how protective Arthur was toward the woman in her hands, he threatened them the first time they met and put himself in harm's way for her safety. So why? Why did he attack her like that? The cause of the mental anguish the woman in her arms was the glowing eyes from Arthur, after they glowed, Evangelist behaved rather oddly for Lily even if she was not around her for a long period of time. Arthur stared at the woman unsympathetically, he felt nothing even when she screamed. Hearing Lily ask what he had done, he stared at Lily as well. “I merely put her in an illusion, if she can't win against her past she's weak

He knew he made a grave error in calculations but he had to, to match the power of Linux it was imperative for him to release the seal. He flickered across the battlefield and appeared before Linux, he threw a punch at the latter who blocked his punch. Linux kicked Arthur away from her only for the latter to pounce back and be on the assault once again. She diverted and blocked his attacks retaliating with her own.
