Sadie walked into the sitting room. She is dressed in a gown and a pair of slippers. She sees Amir sitting on a couch. Amir is glancing through some papers and he has a briefcase beside him.

“I thought you were gone, Mr. Amir,” Sadie said, glancing at Amir's face. Amir did as if he can’t hear Sadie talk. He fixed his gaze more on the three papers in his hand.

Sadie stands in front of Amir. She kneels down and says, “I know you are still angry with me. Please, forgive me.”

Amir glares at Sadie. He stands up from the couch and clutches his briefcase. He wants to leave the sitting room when Sadie holds his leg.

“Let me go, woman. People are already waiting for me at the company.”

“Your family is more important than any work.”

“That’s your opinion. But what’s the essence of loving a wife that doesn’t know how to keep her mouth shut?”
