Silas crumbles some seasonings inside the rice he is cooking. He tastes the food and sees that he has added the ingredients in the right proportions. The pepper isn’t too much, neither other ingredients.

When the food is done, Silas quenches the stove's fire. He serves the food inside two plates and leaves the kitchen, clutching the plates.

“I don’t know what the hell is wrong with you. It’s a bright new day for crying out loud,” Silas said when he got to the bedroom and still saw Rachael slugging on the bed.

Out of annoyance, Silas taps Rachael only to discover that Rachael's body is cold. It is quite below the degree for a normal body temperature.

“Rachael! Rachael!” Silas screamed, gazing at Rachael’s eyes. Rachael's eyes are closed and she is unconscious.

“Help! Help! Somebody, help me!” Silas said and rushed out of the bedroom.
