She drops her bag on the table and greets Malam Yusuf. “Why did Amir had to call you this afternoon?” Malam Yusuf said. “Can you believe what happened at Amir's house?” Mrs. Cora said, sitting down beside Malam Yusuf on the couch. “What happened? He knocks on the door only for Rachael to open the door. As soon as Rachael sees him, she frowns her face. “Can I enter?” Malam Yusuf said. Rachael glimpses at him and allows him into the sitting room. She leaves at once and returns with a glassful of wine. She gives the wine to Malam Yusuf and sits down. “Where is Silas?” Malam Yusuf said and sipped the wine. “He has gone to the office.” “He doesn’t have an office for crying out loud. She knows that it is going to make Silas to laugh. Rachael is sitting on one of the couch while Silas is eating his food. There is silence inside the sitting room. It is as if nobody is there. Silas keeps eating his food. He is enjoying the heap of rice placed in front of him. It is fried rice which makes him to be happy. As soon as his food, he clutches his plate and leaves the sitting room. He returns to the sitting room, clutching his phone. A few minutes later, Margaret walks into the sitting room. She is dressed in a pink dress. The dress fits her so much. “Welcome,” Margaret said. “Thank you.” “How was work today?” “It was fine. Liam wears his slippers properly and leaves the dining room. Margaret, on the other hand, continues eating his food. It is as if the food should not finish. As soon as everyone finishes eating the food, Margaret gathers the used plates. She ensures that the dining table and the dining room is clean before she leaves the dining room. When she gets to the sitting room, she can see Liam discussing with the children. They are talking loudly that anyone can hear their voices. Margaret sits down beside Liam on the couch and joins the conversation. She listens to what others have to say most of the time. Only God knows where they went to. Whenever they leave home together on a Saturday, they must have gone for something important. Most time, it’s always parties. Silas is sitting on the couch when Rachael enters the sitting room. She has changed her clothes into a light gown. She gives Silas the cup in her hand. Silas collects the cup from her and sips its content. He drops the cup on the table and says, “What do we eat?” “I think I will just fry some potatoes.” “That’s fine. I am very hungry. Will you do the cooking?” “Yes, I will. Thank you very much for the car.” “Your greetings are becoming unbearable for me. I did what I am supposed to do as a husband.” “Not all husbands do that. It’s only special husbands like you.” “Thank you. You need to go and cook now.”

She would have slap him if not that he left her inside the sitting room. Mrs. Cora had wanted to carry a police officer along with her, but her husband wouldn’t allow her to do that. He pleaded on Silas’ behalf. Mrs. Cora sits down on the couch for a few minutes before she leaves. She returns to the sitting room, holding a brown cup with her right hand. She sits down on the couch and starts sipping the wine. Her intention is that the wine will suppress the rage that is boiling inside of her. If she is holding a knife and Silas is standing close to her, she will stab him. She doesn’t mind the repercussion of her sin. The anger in her can boil two eggs. Mrs. Cora finally empties the cup. Even the director of a company will not dress more than him. He looks so cute in his clothes. He sits down on the couch, waiting for Rachael. Seven minutes later, Rachael walks into the sitting room. She is dressed in a brown suit and she is clutching a brown bag. Silas cannot take his face from the beauty. He keeps looking at her as she walks in his direction. Standing right in front of Silas, Rachael says, “I can see that you are dressed for work.” “Yeah. You look so beauty.” “Thank you very much. Let’s eat our food.” As soon they eat their food, they discuss for a few minutes before they leave the sitting room. Silas drops Rachael right in front of the bank, he kisses her before she alights from the vehicle. He drives
