He is looking at different directions as if he is waiting for someone. After sitting for eight minutes, he stands up from the couch and moves in the direction of the table. He picks up the cup on the table. He looks inside it, it’s a cupful of wine. He sips the wine and returns back to his seat. Some minutes later, Margaret walks into the sitting room. Despite the fact that he wasn’t busy at work today, he couldn’t go to the restaurant to eat because he felt so tired to drive and he didn’t want to enter a cab. He had planned to eat as soon as he gets home. Silas wears his slippers and leaves the bedroom. He gets to the dining room as sees Emery already setting the table. “Just have your seat, sir. I need to get a cup,” Emery said some seconds after Silas gets to the dining room. “Alright. Don’t stay long. She promised Rachael yesterday that she was going to wake up before he so has to tidy up the house before they go to workplace. She had put her set her alarm and rose up immediately the alarm rang. He is waiting patiently for his breakfast. He brings out his phone from his pocket and starts pressing it. It is frowning is face as if he is reading something bad on the phone. About ten minutes later, Emery walks into the sitting room. With smile on her face, she tells Silas that the food is ready. “It’s already. She hears a voice gives her a reply and she knows at once that it is Rose’s voice. She doesn’t need anyone to tell her that it’s Roe's voice because they have come a long way together. Rose opens the door for Rachael and they walk in the direction of the couches. Rachael can see Delvin sitting con one of the couches. He is dressed in a white suit. “Good morning, Delvin,” Rachael said. “Good morning, Rachael. How are you?” “I am fine.” Rachael sits down beside Rose on the couch. Rose asks if she will like to take something but she refuses. “Anyways, I will go and set the table so that we can eat.” “It’s alright.” Rose stands up from the couch and leaves the sitting room. Delvin smiles and says, “I enjoy the food.” “He likes beans so much,” Rose said. “Really?” “Yeah,” Delvin said, nodding his head. “In that case you are my friend.” They all laughed and occupy two couches. Delvin is sitting alone while Rose and Rachael are sitting together. It is as if they are doing gender discrimination. Boys not wanting to sits down close to girls in the classroom. “Congratulations, friends,” Rachael said. “Thank you,” the couple answered at once. Rachael looks at them and admires them so much. She enjoys the time they have spent together. She thought she had seen it all with Rose, until Delvin stepped in. Delvin becomes more friendly than Rose. She is pressing her phone so all her attention is on what she is doing. A few minutes later, she stands up from the couch, picks up her bag and leaves the sitting room. When she gets inside the bedroom, she changes her clothes and sleeps. At exactly 10:08 AM, she wakes up from her sleep. She picks up her phone and discovers that that she has missed calls from Silas. Silas had called her three times while she was sleeping. She quickly dials Silas' number. It goes through, but Silas is not picking up the call. She tries again, but it is still the same. She clutches the phone, wears her slippers and leaves the bedroom. When she gets to the sitting room, she sits down on the couch. She is pressing her phone when the it rings. It’s Silas calling her again. She picks up the call moodily. “Hello.” “
