Chapter 7: Suicide Mission

"CPA (Certified Perfect Agent)?" Carly said, her eyes widening.

The CPA is a covert army that reports directly to Markopoulos and is entrusted with killing monsters.

The monsters may replicate the shape of the human body and are intelligent, but they cannot talk; each monster has several levels, including iron, bronze, silver, gold, diamond, platinum, and Mythril.

The presence of these creatures is kept hidden by the Markopoulos administration; the Mali sector, which is on the African continent, is where many monsters appear. Because monsters murdered so many Aetherians, they are few and far between.

The monsters first appeared in the Babylon sector after Professor Bernard successfully opened the link to Everest Month, and then spread to other sectors. Six sectors were able to seal the portal, however one portal that releases mythril level creatures remains, in the Mali sector, specifically the South African country.

[Congratulations on completing Level 3 and earning 100 points]

"Wait a minute, General. "It's a suicide mission," Carly said flatly.

"What do you mean, master?" Benedict inquired, his face puzzled.

"Killing monsters in the uninhabited sector of Mali, South Africa, to be precise, is the training ground for levelling up to CPA." "Are you prepared?" Arthur inquired. "If you are ready, please sign this letter."

Benedict scratched his chin with wandering eyes, contemplating this proposition. Benedict, after all, was still a novice who didn't know how to fight.

"What are the conditions for me to pass this test?" Benedict said, his gaze narrowing.

"You protect this area from monsters; the Markopoulos government owns a specialised lab." Take all of the data and provide it to us; if you succeed, we will instantly suggest you to join the CPA forces," Arthur added, referring to a map of the free state, Eldridia, one of the areas in South Africa.

"General, I accept, but please give me at least a week to prepare," Benedict said.

"Benedict, you've lost your mind!" Carly said.

"Master, relax; believe me, I can return to this academy again." "Please train me very seriously for this week," Benedict begged Carly as he knelt.

"All right, I'll go along with it. "Be prepared!" Arthur remarked with a cheeky look.

"I'll kill you too, silly lad, just like I killed your parents, hahaha." With an ugly chuckle, Arthur thought.

"I don't need to get my hands dirty anymore; you'll be torn to pieces by the monsters over there," the guy added.

"Why did the general subject Benedict to such a difficult test?" Despite the fact that my objective was just to get Benedict to soldier level so that he might have better meals. Instead, he was promoted to the CPA level. "I have a bad feeling about this; I need to train Benedict to be strong in a week," Carly reasoned.

Benedict authorised an expedition to the Mali area in order to acquire Markopoulos' unique lab research data. Carly and Benedict then exited the hidden area and went to Benedict's dorm.

[RING! A Mythril-level azure dragon monster has been spotted as a mission.]

[Gift: ?] [Punishment: if you died, you are not able to reincarnate for 100 lives.]

[Missions are accepted automatically and cannot be denied]

"Mythril-level azure dragon?" Benedict's thoughts rounded.

When Benedict was five years old, he learned from his father that the strongest monster level was Mythril, and that Mythril-level monsters were monster bosses.

[RING, RING, RING!]

[Name: Benedict Muller] [18 years old] [Level Aetherians: ?] [System level: Inexperienced (110/10,000)]

[Capability: Earth level 1: Earth] [You may level up by killing enemies and completing assignments.]

[System level: newbie, warrior, champion, gladiator, premier knight, emperor, god of war, unidentified material]

[Congratulations on finishing the task and raising the captain's level]

The following morning, Benedict, Jacob, Jennifer, and Clara had assembled at the training field early in the morning, before sunrise.

"Good morning, everyone!" Carly said.

"Morning, master!" they all said at the same time.

"We'll train according to our job classes this morning." Jennifer, you are a healer, tanker, and assassin, and I have seen and examined all of you. "Your training is to increase your stamina so that you can manoeuvre your support skills, and you should increase your gravity training to 8 times like Benedict," Carly instructed.

"Clara, you are a striker, and your weapon is a sword; practise using your sword to improve your speed, accuracy, and strength." Take it!" Carly added, handing over a weight-adjustable fake katana.

"Is this a sword, master?" Clara inquired.

"This is a katana with a weight adjustment." Set the weight to one tonne and swing the sword 100 times, increasing the weight by one tonne each time," Carly said.

"Ready, master!" said Clara, pressing the digital button on the sword hilt once to indicate 1 tonne.

"Jacob is a ranger who specialises in the art of effect, mastering summoner, necromancer, and wizard abilities." Your workout boosts your energy consumption and expands your energy reserve so it doesn't deplete too rapidly, therefore meditate by that waterfall!" Carly remarked, motioning to the waterfall to the north.

"Yes, master!" Jacob said, bowing politely and walking towards the waterfall to the north.

"Don't go home before I wake you up!" Carly yelled at Jacob, who had gone a short distance away. Jennifer was already walking like she had done the day before, but her gravitational load had grown eight times. Clara had begun swinging the 1-tonne sword, but with some difficulty.

"And you, Benedict, take this!" Carly presented him with her little stone.

"But, master..." Benedict's response was cut off.

"Accept it now, and promise to return." Let's put it to use. "Direct your energy towards the small stone!" Carly gave the command.

[Small stone is a type of art. It is a sort of weapon that can be converted into whatever weapon the user imagines. To modify the shape of the weapon, the user must expend energy; the higher the energy expended, the stronger the weapon generated]

[With the current captain energy, dark blaze, Juragan can only make one weapon type form.]

Benedict forced The Veil's energy into the little stone, grumbling constantly, "Argh, come on, transform! Aaaaaargh!"

Benedict did not give up, despite the fact that he had been unable to transform the little stone into a black blaze for 40 minutes.

"Why is it so difficult?" Oh, no!" Benedict muttered to himself.

"Shut your eyes! Feel your thoughts into the little stone, feel every molecule that makes up the small stone under your direction, and then command it!" Carly gave the command.

Benedict, who had been moaning, was suddenly silent and closed his eyes as Carly instructed. Small Stone's heart and thoughts began to meld.
