CHAPTER 5

Churchill couldn’t say yes when he was asked if he’s the one. He turned to look at Meena with a wild face

“ who are you if I may ask?

and why are you looking for Churchill?”

he asked with enthusiasm.

Meena turned to look at Churchill in shock, she was trying to figure out what was going on so she kept cool and observed what was happening.

She thought the old man was after Churchill because he has offended or stolen from him at first but looking at the man’s sense of humor she thought otherwise.

To clear her doubt in mind she went ahead to ask the man why he was looking for Churchill

“ Excuse me, Sir,.

please why are you after Churchill?

Hope all is well. He didn’t offend you did he?

if is like that please forgive him because we can’t afford to stand with you in court Sir.” Meena pleaded.

The old man smiled and shook his head

“ No my dear is not a thing like that.

Are you his sister or relative?”

the old man asked

Meena looked at Churchill and replied to the man

“ I’m sorry Sir am not related to him in any way.

We are just friends old friends for that matter”

Churchill stood and watched Meena and the old man chat.

He got annoyed by Meena's words

“ Really,

Meena is that how you could describe an old friend?

That’s so heartless of you!”

. He turned to the old man and asked once again why he was looking for Churchill

Okay, I’m sorry for not introducing myself in the first place

“ I am Mr. Wallace a worker at SOLIDARIDAD company, I work for Mr. Welly the old man you saved using acupuncture the last time at the airport. Have you forgotten so soon?”

Mr. Wallace asked with a smile on.

“Oh okay,

Miss Julia's grandfather right?

How’s he doing?

I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to call and check up on him after we departed. But how did you find me I don’t remember giving you my location and address.” Churchill smiled

Churchill also introduced himself that he is Churchill and he was sorry for delaying the old man.

“Don’t worry my dear I would have reacted the same way if I was you….I it’s nice meeting you again. How I know you were here should not bother you..we made one of our guards follow you to this place for further information………….”

Meena was still looking at them with her mouth widely opened and one hand holding the door after she heard the name of the company.

As she looked at the facial expressions during Churchill and Mr. Wallace’s conversation, she thought otherwise

“ I’m I making a mistake?

Is Churchill from a wealthy home?

Is he a son of this wealthy man Mr. Well?

Was he pretending all, these while?

she thought.

The old man asked Churchill to come with him to the car.

Churchill wasn’t much convinced by what the old man was saying he remembered what Dr. Sergio told him before he left the airport,

“ if anything happens to the Lord we’ll find you and you will pay dearly with your life.”

Churchill after remembering these words got scared and asked Mr. Wallace how Julia and his grandfather were doing again.

He was told they are fine and that he was needed by his master the Lord urgently.

He has invited Churchill to his house and he was to go with Mr. Wallace s soon as possible.

Meena sneered after hearing the whole conversation

“oh I see was having a different thought and I would have been surprised but thank God wasn’t like that but wait when did you become a doctor Churchill? she teased Churchill.

Well now that I have realized am not needed here in this conversation, guess I have to excuse you, men, for further conversation, thinking her decision of dating rich guys were the best after all Churchill couldn’t take care if her.

Churchill asked Mr. Wallace to wait for him in the car and that he’ll join him soon. He needed to talk to Meena before leaving

“ Meena!.......

Are you serious about what you said earlier before Mr. Wallace came in ?.”

We are done talking about this issue Churchill just move on because I have done so a long time ago. .u need to do something inside so if you would excuse me…”

Churchill watched Meena leave and then he got in the car.

On their way to Mr. Welly's house,

Churchill was having mixed feelings. He was sad about what has happened between himself and Meena also at the same time, he was happy to meet Julia and her grandfather again. He wondered what could have happened to Mr. Welly since Mr. Wallace wasn’t ready to tell him anything about the Lord’s health.

Mr. Wallace realized how troubled Churchill was so he engaged him in a conversation

“ the young lady I met earlier, who’s she to you if I may ask? I hope am not interfering into your personal matter”

“ Not at all Sir, it’s a long story I just don’t want to talk about mow but I will later right now my main focus is on Mr. Welly I really can’t wait to see him am worried about him.” Churchill murmured

Mr. Wallace chuckled and told him not to worry about that because Mr. Welly is perfectly fine. After hearing what the old man said Churchill was relaxed.

When they got to the estate where Mr. Welly lives,

he couldn’t stop glancing through the window.

The community was clearly full of wealthy people, securities were moving from end to end to ensure safety. The atmosphere there was different with a cool breeze. In front of every house packed two or more lucrative cars in a garage.

“ I thought such environment were edited in movies”

he thought while smiling

They drove two hours from LaVees college to the mansion of the Welly family

“ I can see you are very tired we’ll get there soon”

When they for to the entrance the main gate opened automatically which Churchill was not predicting.

“ Are we here in this hotel to spend the night and continue tomorrow?”

Churchill asked

Mr. Wallace looked at Churchill and burst out laughing

“ of course not, here is Welly's mansion.

Please follow me to Mr. Welly's room but before that, you need to be inspected by the guards.”

Churchill looked around the mansion filled with luxurious cars and guards as he was been inspected.

He never dreamt of being in a place like this to him he was blessed and fortunate.

After being checked he followed Mr. Wallace who works as the Welly's family housekeeper when they got inside the house he saw that there was nobody around

“ where’s Julia and Mr. Welly, Sir?

They are all with the master in his room I guess….

“Let’s go to the master’s room”

When they got to Mr. Welly's room, they found out that all the family was present by his side looking worried and unhappy because their old man was on the verge of death.

He was covered in cloth as he lay on his bed uncomfortably.

There was a doctor who was going to feed the master pills, Churchill shouted

“STOP” .

They turned angrily to look at the one who shouted to frighten them
