A Break In Trust.

The rain started drizzling as Anna lay on the bed feeling worried about James' whereabouts as he still hadn’t shown up despite the nurse telling her he was present at the hospital.

She kept hissing at every slight opportunity that she had. From the way she was making some funny sounds with her mouth, one could easily predict that she was upset.

The nurse who was in charge of taking care of her wanted to say a word to her but she kept it back to herself.

Anna looked up to the ceiling trying to process how best to pour out her thoughts to the nurse but no matter how she tried to process the right words to use to approach the nurse it felt as if she wasn’t making a point.

“Did you lie to me so that you could send my mum out?” she finally let the words out of her mouth with rage in her voice.

“Excuse me? What do you mean by that? What are you trying to imply?” The nurse stood right there at the edge of the exit door with her folded arms looking at Anna with contempt.
