Their eyes were struck into each other in shock and amusement at how they were unable to catch any glimpse of Precious after everything they saw her go through and the last time they heard her voice she was on the verge of losing her breathe and crying for a bottle of water and seeing that she was nowhere close to their sight got them triggered.

“Where the hell do you think she might have gone to?” The secretary asked her assistant one more time in a lower tone so Mason wouldn’t be able to hear their conversation.
