Chapter 7: Anderson's Retribution

Jenny, who had lived with the Andersons for three years, isn't ignorant of what Old Ye said. The Anderson patriarch had told Jenny several times to convince her grandfather to sell Ye's ancestral land to the Daniels, but she had refused; she hadn't expected Old Ye to already be aware of it.

Tears clouded her eyes as she realized her years of suffering in the hands of the Andersons, all to protect her grandfather from blame, were coming to an abrupt end.

Tears began to roll down her eyes. Emperor Dao, who has been numbed of human feelings for billions of years, felt this usual feeling of concern and anxiety towards Jenny who was weeping. Old Ye became flustered and unable to know how to act.

"Stop crying," Old Ye said forcefully, attempting to hide the surging emotions within, which only added to the awkwardness of the situation."

"Grandpa, I will sign the divorce papers. I have been putting up with the marriage so that you won't blame yourself," Jenny responded, swiping away the tears rolling down her cheeks with the back of her hand.

Old Ye exhaled in relief when he heard what Jenny said; he didn't expect the matter to be settled smoothly.

Taking the divorce papers from the hands of Old Ye, Jenny angrily signed the divorce papers. After signing, she let out a sigh of relief.

Old Ye retrieved the divorce papers from Jenny with satisfaction. He patted Jenny's back and comforted her: "There is no need to be sad; the Andersons won't live long to celebrate their wickedness. When I get back, I will make you as good as new."

"Thank you, Grandpa." Jenny nodded and then forced a smile. She didn't believe the words of Old Ye; the Anderson family were not people they could contend with.

Old Ye didn't try to convince her; he took the divorce papers and walked out of the courtyard. If one watched his feet while walking, one would notice that his feet didn't come into contact with the ground.

The moment he left the rusty gate, he blended with the environment and teleported directly to the gate of the Anderson mansion.

When he arrived, they were already fixing the gate he had damaged earlier.

"Humh!" Old Ye snorted in dissatisfaction, and a turbid air came from his nostrils and smashed the gate.

The gate collapsed onto the workers, eliciting painful wails.

How can Emperor Dao allow something he has destroyed to be rebuilt?

Old Ye jumped over the gate crushing the workers that it fell on, and headed towards the Anderson mansion.

Except for the servants moving around and a few bodyguards around the big mansion structure, the crowd of people Old Ye saw earlier was no longer in sight.

"Stop right there!" a thundering voice roared in rage when Old Ye wanted to barge into the mansion arrogantly.

Old Ye looked in the direction the voice came from and saw a young man in his early twenties; he was the fifth son of Old Anderson. Looking at the haughty boy, Old Ye lost his impatience and retorted in rage, "Brat, are you talking to this lord?"

In Old Ye's memories, this brat has a name, and his name is Tony. He has made fun of former Old Ye's times without a number; most of the time, he was the one sending the former Old Ye away. The grudge between them is deep.

"Little madman, who let you in? security! security!!" Tony shouted in anger; he didn't expect the handsome-looking man to call him a brat, and he hated people who looked better than him. With the summation of Old Ye's crimes, it would be strange if he didn't call the guards not to beat him up immediately.

Ten burly men dressed in black security uniforms with batons assembled immediately at his command.

Old Ye looked at them condescendingly; if not for the fact that he didn't want to cause too much havoc, he would have killed them all at once.

"Little bastard, I will forgive you for being ignorant; this Lord didn't have the time to entertain you and those ants; this is the divorce papers; the Anderson family has no marriage alliance with the Ye family from today henceforth," Old Ye said coldly and tossed the divorce papers towards Tony and the ten burly security men.

Tony's face was filled with surprise and then anger. He didn't expect someone from that wretched Ye family to talk so arrogantly and even act overbearing in the Anderson family, where tigers and dragons lowered their heads when seeking an audience.

"Stop right there! Where do you think you are running off to?" Tony shouted; he was yet to process his anger when Old Ye turned around and left.

Old Ye didn't even stop walking, and neither did he look back. Tony's anger soared when he saw Old Ye's action.

"Fuck! Grab that madman and beat him up until he realises that this daddy isn't someone a pauper could look down on." Tony gave a series of orders with gnashed teeth, he looked down at the divorce papers lying on the ground, and his anger rose once again.

He roared in rage and raised his leg to stomp on them, but to his surprise, anytime he landed his foot on the ground, the papers would move and dodge.

"What is going on?" Tony asked and rubbed his eyes in shock. He couldn't believe it. He tried once again and failed. Cold sweats filled his back in trepidation.

When he raised his head and saw that the security guards that went after Old Ye had been running towards him but couldn't get close to him, no matter how hard they tried, they were all covered in sweat and exhaling heavy breaths, yet they couldn't capture Old Ye.

"What is going on?" Old Anderson came out of the house, saw the situation, and asked immediately. One of the servants who witnessed the confrontation told him about the matter.
