Chapter 6: You Are Not My Grandfather

Upon returning home, Jenny, still in shock and disbelief over the transformation story John had told her about Old Ye, immediately checked the room where Old Ye was recuperating. As expected, she did not find anyone inside.

The taxi driver who drove them back left after dropping his contact details with them. He waited for a long time before he could no longer stay.

After the driver left the sister and brother pair didn't go in, Jenny decided to wait for Old Ye, they didn't know where he had gone, and even if they looked for him they would never think of him barging into the Anderson's home.

Old Ye didn't keep them waiting for long; he teleported directly from the Anderson family mansion when no one was watching and arrived home.

The moment he pushed the rusty gate open, he saw Jenny and John standing in front of the dilapidated house in the large courtyard, which could house fifty houses of that size.

"You have to sign these divorce papers, so I can return them to those scums of humanity," Old Ye said the moment he got close to where Jenny and John were standing together.

"Who are you?" Jenny asked fearfully and pulled John behind her back, there was no way she would believe that the handsome young man who was barely twenty was her old and almost dying grandfather who was at the age of seventy.

Old Ye froze, he had forgotten about this matter, if he had known that such a problem would arise, he wouldn't have cultivated and regained his vitality immediately, but he isn't someone who will be stomped by a mistake.

"I am your grandfather. Hurry up and sign these divorce papers; the earlier, the better," he said impatiently. Emperor Dao stood at the pinnacle of the immortal world and had escaped the path of heaven before reincarnating. His words had always been laws that people adhered to by default, and his communication with Jenny was heavily influenced by habit.

Hearing Old Ye's response Jenny became emotional, her face turning frosty as she retorted loudly in anger, "How can you be my grandfather? My grandfather is old and sick! There is no way a handsome young man like you could be my grandfather; that's impossible! You are an imposter"

If Jenny had not been well-mannered, she might have slapped Emperor Dao, who had been parading himself as Old Ye. Old Ye's face turned cold. He had never been scolded before. If it weren't for the fact that the person scolding him was his granddaughter, he might have killed her outright.

His aura leaked out, and Jenny shuddered in fear, grabbing John. She looked like someone who had seen an assassin who was after her life.

"I am your grandfather" Old Ye repeated unreasonably, when has he ever been reasonable? if he could change people's fate leisurely and play chess with people's lives, could you talk reason with such a person?

Before Jenny could retort, Old Ye had already gone into the house scaring her and John, Old Ye acted and behaved like an alien.

Their faces turned pale when Old Ye returned with a heavy iron box, ordinarily, it would take five energetic young men to carry the heavy-metal box, but Old Ye was the only one carrying it, and he didn't look bothered by the weight in the slightest.

Old Ye put down the iron box and opened it. He selected a few photos and then stretched them towards Jenny.

Jenny and John looked at him cautiously, they were afraid of Old Ye, if not for them being at their home, they would have fled a long time ago.

"Take it!" Old Ye said impatiently, he was irritated thoroughly by the few people he met upon his reincarnation on Earth, and he was exasperated that he had not smacked them to death with his palm to vent his pent anger.

Reluctantly taking the photos from Old Ye, Jenny's eyes widened in shock and her mouth opened wide.

She took a look at the photo and then Old Ye, feeling perplexed by the situation, John also took a look at the photo and was rendered speechless, they were utterly confused by the thought of someone ageing backwards.

"I am your grandfather, Old Ye. If you are still wondering why I am getting younger instead of getting older and dying, it is because I took a beauty pill; I have already reserved one for you. You will stop doubting me when you see the miraculous effect of the pill," Old Ye said with self-satisfaction. It would have been difficult to wriggle out of the situation without the former Old Ye's old photos.

As expected, at the thought of getting prettier, Jenny was bought, and she asked excitedly, "Grandpa, are you telling the truth?"

Old Ye's face beamed when she called him Grandpa. He was truly satisfied with his new granddaughter, and he happily responded, "Has grandpa ever lied to you? When you were three, I promised to buy you candy when you ran away from home; didn't I not buy it for you?"

Old Ye didn't have any intention of convincing Jenny with the beauty pill, his trump card was the former Old Ye's memories with his grandchildren, with this he will be able to convince them all.

"Hurry up and sign the divorce papers; the longer I am in-law with that disgusting family, the more I feel like tearing someone into pieces in rage." Old Ye brought up the issue of divorce right away; he wasn't one to hesitate when doing things.

Jenny's face fell, she became reluctant, and the happiness earlier disappeared.

Old Ye could see through her thoughts with just a glance: "Jen, that family isn't worthy of you; they have no intention of marrying you into that family for love; they intended to use you as a bargaining chip so that they could pressure me into selling this land to the Daniels so they could reap benefits." Old Ye said and then snorted in dissatisfaction, "And that husband of yours, there is no need of mentioning him at all; he isn't worthy of being my son-in-law."
