Chapter 140

Nathan stepped out of the Rolls Royce after heaving a deep sigh. It was past 9 am and he was feeling a bit disappointed even though it was the first time he was turning up late since he became a manager at Phoenix.

Last night, he had a bit of a hangover from the party and Larry had to drop him at his mansion. Driving from his mansion to Phoenix was a long journey that took more than an hour.

He held onto his briefcase and began striding toward the surveillance unit. Flashes of the event that had occurred at the reunion began to waver in his mind.

He smiled when he recollected Kelvin’s face after the hall manager declared his payment successful when his card was inserted into the machine.

Kelvin had to storm out of the hall and Nathan knew he must be wondering how much lottery money he’s got left.
