Chapter 219

Nathan walked into the second longue with his brows furrowing in anger.

Meanwhile, the lounge was cleared and Mike was the only customer there. Nathan walked up to the table and crashed opposite Mike.

“Are you okay?” Mike demanded while studying Nathan’s expression.

Nathan was staring at nothing in particular. He seemed lost.

“I’m good.”

“I’ve known you since you were a boy Nathan. If you are mad, sad, or confused, you avoid eye contact.” Mike pointed out.

Nathan turned to him with a weak smile.

Mike cleared his throat loudly and sat up. “It’s not a good time, we can hang out some other time.”

Nathan raised an eyebrow. “Really?” He had wanted to barge out of the restaurant and get away from the building as fast as he could but he had considered Mike who was waiting for him in the second lounge.

“We can hang out some other time,” Mike concluded and swept his keys from the glass table. He sensed that Nathan wasn’t really in a good mood.

Mike stood up. “Let’s go.”

Nathan sighed and rose
