Chapter 220

Immediately after Avery dropped the call, Nathan placed the phone right next to him on the bed. He took his jaw into his hands with a sigh.

He didn’t want to lie to her about his whereabouts. Nathan knew that he could have easily asked her to wait for him at his rented apartment but didn’t want to see her. He was both mad and confused so he decided that it was best he lets Avery be tonight.

Nathan fell back on the bed. He shut his eyes but couldn’t fall asleep so he felt that a quick shower might help.

After taking a shower, Nathan was still feeling uneasy.

He decided to wrap himself up with schoolwork. He grabbed his textbooks and dashed to the study.

It was a few minutes to 7 am.

Nathan lay on his back, his eyes fixated on the wall clock.

He had been awake for the past thirty minutes even though he didn’t get a good sleep the previous night.

Immediately the hour button hit 7 am, Nathan quickly got out of bed. It was Saturday and he spent his Saturday mornings at Ben’s gym.
