Nathan was slipping a Rolex around his left wrist when his phone began to ring. The corners of his mouth twitched with excitement when he picked up the phone and saw the screen. It was Avery calling so Nathan concluded that she was calling to inform him that Jackson and Larry had shown up and he had better not be late. When Nathan responded to the call, he was stunned by the silence that followed afterward. He mumbled the word “Hello!” several times but there was no response. The Alcantara bulletproof vans pulled up in front of the building and a few seconds later, a heated gun battle broke out. Cole was able to depict Avery’s location a while ago from God’s eye so the men got armed and hit the road immediately. Mike had pleaded with Nathan to exempt himself from the operation, promising him that they would bring Avery home but Nathan had insisted. He jumped into the van in the outfit he picked for the date that night.
