When Smith opened his eyes, he saw Lisa sitting on the table facing their king-size bed. He sat up and immediately used the back of his palm to prevent a yawn from slipping out of his mouth. It was 5:30 pm. He placed the file in one of the cabinets attached to the desk and stood up. He closed the windows and pulled down the railings. He grabbed the key Mrs. Wallace had given him and stuffed it inside his wallet. He was contemplating getting a briefcase by tomorrow because it looked like he was going to be doing a lot of paperwork lately. When Smith stepped out of the office and made his way downstairs, he saw the workers hurrying outside. Those who came with their vehicles were rushing toward the parking lot while the others like him were headed toward the exit gate. He was about to aim for the exit gate when he heard Lisa calling out to him. He quickly turned around and saw her waving from the VIP parking lot. There was a VIP parking lot that only Lisa and her father accessed.
