Smith arrived at the office at quarter past 8 am and by the time he walked in, Mr. Carson’s office was already sparkling and Samson was setting the desk. Smith glanced at his wristwatch and realized that it was a few minutes past 5 pm. Closing time was 5 pm which meant that he was done for the day. He grabbed the key Mrs. Wallace had given him and stuffed it inside his wallet. He was contemplating getting a briefcase by tomorrow because it looked like he was going to be doing a lot of paperwork lately. When Smith stepped out of the office and made his way downstairs, he saw the workers hurrying outside. Those who came with their vehicles were rushing toward the parking lot while the others like him were headed toward the exit gate. He was about to aim for the exit gate when he heard Lisa calling out to him. He quickly turned around and saw her waving from the VIP parking lot.
