Chapter 415

When Nathan opened his eyes, his breathing had stabilized. There was no longer a heftiness attached to his eyes and the headache that had plagued him was gone. He sat up and looked around.

Charles and Jackson weren’t there. They had left him alone to rest. Nathan stretched and turned to the wall clock on his left. It was quarter past 7 pm.

He stood up and moved to his closet. Nothing had changed. His clothes were intact and the whole room smelt of lavender just like old times. This gave him the impression that even in his absence, the nature of the mansion had been maintained.

He took off his clothes and strode to the bathroom after grabbing a bath towel. Nathan realized that the bar soap and shaving creams were intact. He checked each one to confirm whether they were the items he left years ago but he discovered that the products were the latest.

He sighed and wondered what kind of hope Jackson and the others possessed. They had kept his memory alive and right now, he had no idea
