“I knew it. I knew that he had been lying all along.” Bernard screamed amidst the laughter.

Henry turned to Charles with a defeated look. “We are done for!”

Kelvin walked up to the counter. “I knew it from the moment he brought this card out that it was fake. How could he access such a card in the first place?”

Not only was Nathan surprised, but he was also confused. He took the card out of the machine and flipped it. It was the same card Mike gave to him and that card contained hundreds of millions.

“Step aside. Your card is not working.” The cashier said.

The students continued laughing.

Kelvin was feeling victorious.

“It’s not fake!” Nathan almost screamed.

Bernard pointed at him. “Can you guys imagine his audacity?”

They went on to mock him with their laughter.

“This card is not fake.” Nathan maintained. There was no way Mike would have given him a fake card. He presented the card back to the cashier. “Can’t you please try it again?”
