DAMIEN’s POV

Damien got to the office this morning, with joy and happiness. He was so happy about the upcoming event. He saw it as an opportunity to revenge Mr. Blackwood. He was so sure the elderly man wouldn't miss the occasion, but he still told Mr.Hardy to send the letter of invitation to him, just in case he wasn't aware of it.

Damien had an ulterior motive for this party and he was so eager to achieve it. Whenever his conscience pricks him, he reminds himself of what happened the last time, all the bad things the blackwoods had done to him, how they embarrassed him in public. Especially their daughter Anna, she didn't just break his heart, she made sure he was reduced to zero. The thought of the scenario made him harden his heart the more.
