Chapter 31

Jake sat still in the car, watching people walk in and out of the bank, some with smiles on their faces. Some with a blank expression. It didn’t take up to thirty minutes for Max to call him back, it seemed like the operation had been completed.

He stretched his hand to grab his phone and swiped to answer the call, he placed the phone by the side of his ear.

“Sir, it has been done, I will forward the soft copies of the documents to you now, sir,” Max said immediately after Jake had picked up the call.

“That is great,” Jake said with a nod of his head.

He stepped out of the car, a loud sigh escaping his lips, he looked down on himself to take in what he was wearing from head to toe. It was a simple casual dress, he had taken off the suit and shirt he wore to work.

“Send it to me, I will let you know if I need anything else, later,” he said and walked into the bank building. “Alert all the workers of a meeting today to announce their sale to the McPherson consortium, the bank is to c
