The man brought out his phone from his pocket and checked. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. It was supposed to be three figures but he was instead seeing four figures.

His eyes widened in shock and fear as he looked at Michael.

“Sir? It's supposed to be $500 but you send $1,000 instead.” The man was stunned.

Michael nodded his head in agreement. “Just keep it to yourself.” He didn't allow the man to thank him when he turned, glancing down at the woman and her child.

“It's settled, please get up.” He leaned and helped the child while the woman gave him a warm and appreciative smile.

She stood up and was lost in the best words to use in thanking him for rescuing her from financial embarrassment.

“Please, stop calling me sir.” Michael pointed out as he snapped her off from her words. The woman was old enough to become his mother so she wasn't allowed to call him
