Max shook his head as he alighted from the car. He had been thinking about it since he left the company. For the moment, he was convinced that his father's wife and Rebecca Nightshade were the same people.

The only Families with Access to those drugs in all of North East were his family and the Nightshade family. And yet it had appeared in his family.

His father didn't order it, nor did the old butler. Neither was it Maximus who had some of it. The only person left was his father's wife. Well, then that was none of his business at the moment.

He could care less about stuff like that. All he wanted was to tell his father who was responsible for his illness. Though he was sure he wasn't going to believe him. He was still going to say it.

He could care less if he got angry, or annoyed, he just had to hear the truth, and if he wasn't interested in hearing the truth, it was all left to him. He wasn't going to force him anyway to believe.
