Max immediately picked up the call, just as he expected, it was Rebecca as her voice came from the other end of the phone.

"How have you been.?"

"Rebecca, did you abduct my mother-in-law, my foster mother, and my sister?" Max asked, ignoring the question.

"And why would you ask me about something like that?" Rebecca chuckled.

"Cause I know you're the one who did it," Max replied.

"Well, that's quite good. But I must let you know that I'm not the one." Rebecca laughed.

She was never going to admit that she was the one who abducted them. She knew Max well and knew that he might do something out of the box if she straight-up agreed to it.

"Fine, what do you want?" Max sighed, knowing fully well that Rebecca wouldn't admit that she was the one.

"Well, then, I need quite a few things." Rebecca laughed.

"Tell me. If it's within my ability, I'll do it immediately." Max replied.

"Don't worry, you'll be able to do it, I won't ask for something that's beyond you." Rebecca laughed.
