Max frowned as he turned around to look at the figure who had just called him. The voice sounded rather familiar to him yet distant which made him wonder who it was.

"So it's you, huh?" A mocking smile appeared on Max's when he turned around and saw who it was.

"It hasn't even been a week yet and you're talking as if you'll ever miss me?" Max chuckled, staring at Rachel who was walking towards him with a scowl on her face.

"What do you think you're doing Max?" Rachel frowned at Max.

"What did I do?" Max frowned, feeling rather confused as to what his mother-in-law was accusing him of.

Even though they weren't on good terms, he was sure that she wouldn't act rashly when they met again, but here she was, behaving as if he had done something grave to her.

"You mean to say you don't know what you've done?" Rachel frowned.

"Yeah, we've not crossed each other's way for quite some time now, how would I know what I've done wrong?" Max furrowed his brow feeling rather confused.
