Chapter 5: No Sorry For Them

The phone call that Dilan had just made, made Halton and the five of them unable to stop themselves from bursting out laughing. This bastard is still acting arrogant even after facing the gates of bankruptcy? This makes them want to vomit!

They hate individuals like Dilan who act indifferent to every situation.

"Do you think we will be afraid of your little threat, Dilan?! You couldn't even save your restaurant, so how could you possibly pay someone to do something to us?! I've never met someone more arrogant than you!" Halton said in a disgusted tone.

Dilan did not waste his energy responding to Halton's insults. His voice is too precious to use on this trash! All he did was sit quietly, waiting for Bastian to finish everything for him.

Realizing that Dilan was ignoring him, Halton became very angry. He really wanted to punch Dilan in the face and kill him right here. However, he won't do that because in the end Charlie will do it.

This made him smile with satisfaction at the thought of Dilan's future destruction. He was looking forward to that moment. However, he suddenly showed a surprised expression when three men with impressive appearances walked into the room.

The one in the middle was a rich old man in an expensive suit. His partly white hair was combed neatly. The two men on his right and left were two burly men with scary appearances. Both of them exuded a strong intimidating aura, making Halton and the others not dare look them in the eye for more than two seconds.

None of them knew the old man, but they clearly knew the two of them well. They are Eldon and Jimmy; two loyal servants of Bastian Emerson.

Both of them were strong people who were able to defeat 20 people at once. They are feared and respected considering their status as two loyal servants of Bastian Emerson.

This was clearly a big question on each of their minds, why did these important people come to this small restaurant?

"Mr. Finnick, I am Bastian Emerson, here to carry out your orders," said Bastian in a respectful tone while bowing politely. Bastian deliberately did not call Dilan the Supreme Lord, because that title should only be known by a small number of people. These little trashes are not worthy of knowing Dilan's true identity.

The other two also did the same thing. Expressions of admiration were clearly written on their faces. They even naturally trembled. In front of them was the legendary hero of the Verdentia Continent. His name is very famous and his figure is highly respected throughout the world. It was an honor to meet this most influential figure.

While the two fell in awe, Halton and the five fell in terrible terror. This old man is Bastian Emerson, the richest man in Ashwood City?!

Why would such an important figure who had never even appeared online or on TV come to this small restaurant? Who is Dilan really to make him bow respectfully, like a loyal servant?!

Of course, this makes Halton realize that his fate will not end well.

"What punishment is appropriate for those who dare to cause destruction in my restaurant, Bastian?" Dilan asked casually.

"The most appropriate punishment for them is death, Mr. Finnick," Bastian replied immediately without hesitation.

"Alright, do it clean and fast!" said Dilan in an indifferent tone.

Hearing that, Halton and the five panicked greatly. Dilan wants to kill them?! No! That's not possible! They still want to live!

Immediately, they prostrated themselves at Dilan's feet and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Mr. Dilan! I'm really sorry! I must be crazy to have offended you! Please let me live! I will be your loyal dog!"

"I'm sorry, Mr. Dilan! Please spare my life! I was just following Mr. Halton!”

Seeing them begging for their lives and blaming each other, made Dilan show an expression of disgust. Why did he hire incompetent people like them?!

"Please spare my life, Dilan! I'm doing this on Charlie Danver's orders! He asked me to destroy your restaurant! If I don't, he will terrorize my life! I had no other choice!" said Halton while crying, begging for forgiveness.

For the sake of his life, he exposed this big secret. He hopes it can save his life from Dilan's anger.

However, all Halton got was a cold expression from Dilan.

"Even when you bring a grim reaper in front of me, I won't kneel for you. That's what you said a moment ago, right? Are you going back on your words now? I really don't like people who don't have a firm stance! Besides, I already know that Charlie is the mastermind behind all this," Dilan replied nonchalantly.

"I'm really sorry, Dilan! I'm crazy because I dared to offend you. I have worked for this restaurant for 15 years! I have done a great service to this restaurant. Please give me a chance..."

Before Halton could finish his sentence, Jimmy stepped hard on his head, making his face hit the floor and blood immediately flowed out of his nose.

"How dare you bring up your services after the crimes you committed to this restaurant! I've never seen anyone more shameless than you!" Jimmy said with a disgusted expression.

Halton was only able to lower his head on the floor, without being able to respond to what Jimmy had done. Jimmy was not someone he could offend.

On the other hand, Dilan had enough of this show so he said to Bastian, "Do it quickly! I never want to see them again!"

Immediately, Bastian, Jimmy, and Eldon took them to the car. Of course, they again begged Dilan for forgiveness, crying and screaming in fear, but Dilan ignored them completely. His disappointment in them was too great.
