In the distance, Matheus spotted a figure standing under the flickering light of a nearby lantern. This was the lead that the agency had directed him to meet. Nervously approaching, Matheus made eye contact with the man, attempting to gauge his trustworthiness.

The lead locked eyes with Matheus, his expression cautious yet calculating. "You must be Matheus," he murmured, his voice laced with a hint of suspicion. "I have the information you seek, but it won't come for free."
