Chapter 107 -

As the smoke cleared from the aftermath of the explosion, Wilson's heart sank as he saw his friend Matheus lying motionless on the ground.

A wave of grief washed over him, and he couldn't hold back the tears that formed in his eyes. It was a sight he never wanted to witness again, to see a teammate dying.

But just as Wilson was about to succumb to the depths of despair and soak himself in the pangs of death, a sudden cough erupted from Matheus' lips, and his eyes fluttered open.

Wilson's shock and relief were palpable, shared by the two other hunters who had been standing nearby.

"It's not possible," Wilson stammered, disbelief etched on his face. "How can you be alive? This is the second time I've seen you die and come back to life."

Matheus, pale and weak, managed a weak smile. "It's complicated, Wilson," he replied in a hoarse voice. "I have a secret, one that I need to share with you here. Can we speak in private? Me and you."
