Chapter 99 -

Matheus rubbed his eyes and let out a deep yawn as he stumbled toward the door to let in the morning light.

As he bent down to pick up his newspaper, he noticed a white envelope lying on the floor. Curiosity piqued, he picked it up and examined the front- it was addressed to him, with the bold letters but without the logo of the agency. It was informal.

Heart racing, Matheus ripped it open and began to read.

"Matheus,

I hope you're doing well. I am reaching out to you in a time of need, as I find myself in a difficult situation. Our agency recently sent me on a mission to attack a group of goons who were holding a container in the port. However, upon investigation, I learned that this was not a goon gathering, but a stronghold of terrorists. I fear I cannot survive this mission alone.

That's why I'm asking for your help. I need you to come to my location and provide backup. I've included my address in this letter- I hope to see you soon, and I hoped that you would help.
