Chapter 2 - The conspiracy

"Did you hear the news?"

"I heard it too, but how is that possible? Let's go to the bank and check to see if it's true. "

"Okay, let's go. It is not the first time that someone has accused the Merck family ".

Such conversations can be heard in every corner of Galaxy Zero. People were flocking to the planet Halla. That was the bank's location.

"Hey, buddy, why are so many people rushing to Planet Halla?"

"Did you miss the news? It's all over the news. The Merck family is said to want to rebel and take control of galaxy zero, with their first goal being to take over our central bank. "

"Wait, is that on the news? How is that possible?"

"That's what everyone's thoughts are too. Let's go there and see if it's true."

A huge crowd gathered on planet Halla. Some people choose to park their spaceships in space. What if the Mercks really attacked the planet. Others choose to enter the Planet Halla. They never believed the Mercks would attack Planet Halla.

Meanwhile, the Merck family were approaching the planet Halla, preparing for an attack. They wanted to save Mark soon. They can't allow anything to happen to Mark. But before they could wonder why were there so many people, a powerful laser shot from behind them struck the planet. From the outside, it appeared as if the Merck family was responsible.

It was clear someone used some dirty tricks to frame the Merck family. Unfortunately, there was no time to investigate.

Suddenly, the planet began to vibrate, and screams could be heard,

For some strange reason, the entire thing was in a live broadcast. Through the broadcast, everyone saw the Merck family arriving with a massive army and destroying the planet Hallo.

"Not good. It's a plot against us. Everyone retreats"

"But, sir, what about Professor Mark?"

"Do you think they left him alive after all of this planning? What are you still waiting for? Return to the family as soon as possible."

The entire galaxy Zero is in disarray. Strange messages travelled through communication devices. Except for Merck and Almas, all families attended a massive meeting. It is possible to see a hologram projection of a man yelling.

"Merck is completely out of control. They must have made great progress in space technology. Let's get started; everyone must attack them before they attack all of us."

"But it's the Merck family. They've never done anything bad in the last few centuries. What if it's a plot?"

"Silence everyone"

The hall fell silent, and a man in a blue mask appeared alongside Benjamin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I apologise for interrupting you all, but there is no time for debate. We must first make a move. You've all seen what space technology is capable of. It should not be controlled solely by The Mercks. Even if the attack was not carried out by the Mercks, we must still attack them. Because..."

"Wait, are you saying we have to attack before we get any evidence? Wait, I know you're the Chain's mysterious boss. Do you believe we'll fall for your ruse? Do it yourself if you want to attack Merck ".

Mr X abruptly walked away and laughed before he said

"True, I want to put an end to the Mercks, and you guys will help me with everything you have. It's not because I'll threaten you, because this young man has something you need to listen to. Mr Benjamin, the assistant director of the Merck research centre. Let him speak a little."

Benjamin stepped forward with a sad expression on his face. He greeted everyone.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I worked for Merck for 30 years without complaint because I believed it was for the benefit of humankind and our galaxy, and it was. We accomplished a lot as a group. But the Mercks of today are not the Mercks of yesteryear. Because they, too, have goals. One example was their most recent secret research. I worked on a covert project to figure out how to take control of other people's gateways. The prototype was functional, but I couldn't take it any longer. How are they able to do it?

Consider allowing one of your business partners to use your gateway, and your business partner goes missing. They will accuse you, despite the fact that you have no idea what happened. In the shadows, Merck has the ability to destroy us all. So I destroyed the research and ran for my life.

Do you think I'll throw away all the money and my luxurious lifestyle just because Mr X can offer me a small sum of wealth? What do the Mercks lack? Think carefully."

Despite Benjamin Spock's efforts, it was not enough to persuade everyone. Because centuries of trust cannot be destroyed by a few words.

"Mr X, if this goes through, they will not cooperate with us; they will only divide."

Mr X came to the front and clasped his hands, saying,

"How about this: We all visit the Merck family and talk about the need for them to allow one of our supervisors to monitor their study moving forward. We may all feel secure in this way. The Mercks, nevertheless, are not the kind to back down from a fight."

A member of the Walton family abruptly stands up and inquires, "What are Mr X's plans?"

"It's very simple. We all take our best battleships and go to planet Merck and show our determination to them. Then force them to agree, so we can keep them under control and question them if any incidents involving gateways occur.

What are your thoughts, Mr Walton?"

The Walton family's patriarch is Old Walton. Years ago, he was a businessman who, along with a few brothers, founded the Walton family and rose to power. He is highly regarded throughout the galaxy.

"It's the same as Mr X."

Despite some opposition, they ultimately decided to go ahead with the plan.

They marched towards planet Merck, led by Mr X and Walton.

*Mr X: He is The Chain's enigmatic leader. His identity is well concealed, and he has long planned to take over the Merck gateway technology. He had plotted and schemed before, but it had all failed. He only succeeded once, and that was when he got Benjamin to betray his own family.

*The galaxy zero has a meeting place for powerful families and organisations, where they primarily use their hologram projection. That way, it's simple to gather quickly and safely.
