"What they hell!" Luke's mind raced while still holding onto the microphone in wonder of what was happening. "What are you just sitting around for? Shut down the projector!" With the room now emptied aside from the three people left behind, Ella and Luke stared at each other for a moment in a cold silence. "What the hell does she mean, 'we have to kill her'!? She questioned while shaking her head in disbelief at what she had witnessed. Luke stared silently while still trying to piece together what had happened. He knew something terrible was taking place and the only thing he could think about was the 'New Genesis' Program that his father had supposedly built. With his body still weak and exhausted after his tussle, Luke found himself stumbling around while Ella helped him to the one and only exit to the room. "Once I get out of here. I'm doubling my gym routine. *Cough* Scratch that, I'm tripping it. No pain no gain, right Ella? *Cough* That's what they all say." Despite being in pain from the damage the man had inflicted on him, Luke continued to try and brighten the mood. They may have been in a tricky situation, but Luke wasn't going to let it bring them down, or make them look for pity. He felt that if they kept pushing forward, things would work themselves out in time. That's how it had worked in the past and there was no reason that it couldn't work now. Standing in front of the imposing metal door, Ella reached over to the panel beside it with her free hand and watched as the door slowly slid open to the darkened hallway beyond. The chase went on for longer than they would have thought but things looked to be going in their favor. They had exited the interior of the ship and were now running along one of the open decks outside. Unfortunately, although the open space allowed for Luke and Ella to pass by the large crowd, It also made the stampeding group far more noticeable than they would have liked. They had lost the cover provided by the ship's walls and were now on full display for anyone within sight see and capture. Their pursuers however had yet to notice this fact, and continued on with their chase as if everything was normal. Soon enough, there was a growing army that had begun to chase after Ella and Luke creating a symphony of disharmonious Footsteps echoing throughout the air. The noise was deafening but neither Luke nor Ella could care less about it as they continued to run for their lives. Luke and Ella carefully stepped forward toward the room ahead of them. The room was pitch black without any light emanating from within. Without knowing whether or not they were alone inside the room or not, It was obvious that they had no choice but to proceed into the darkness. "Alright, let's take it slow." Luke whispered in order to make sure they didn't trigger anything unsavory. Moving as quietly as possible, they entered into the room as the door behind them shut and locked itself tightly shut, sealing them inside. Once the room was locked, a single bulb of light flickered on from the ceiling illuminating the room. It didn't provide much light but it was enough to at least get a feel for what was going on around them. The room was incredibly large to the point that it felt as if it could fit two dozen people in it at once. The next few hours went by slowly as Ella worked on getting the woman free of the bindings that held her in place. Although things weren't looking very good, There was nothing in the room to help them break away but there were multiple different monitors that seemed to have been hooked up to the woman somehow. While Ella attempted to make sense of how they could be used, Luke watched over his mother with a bit of curiosity in his eyes while trying not to think about why he should care about her well-being in the first place. Despite not wanting to help her, he wasn't so sure about simply leaving her here to die. He might have been the one to kill his father, but it was never his intention to do so. If given the chance, he would rather not have to do it again. Especially with how pathetic his mothers condition looks. "I know that you're still conscious right now. As the room was filled with the silence provided by death, Luke had remained still with Ella standing uncomfortably behind him. His eyes were fixed on his mothers body as his heart slowly began to ache at the sight of such a painful scene playing out before him. Luke couldn't understand why this scene was causing him so much grief, and he knew deep down that there was probably something deeply wrong with him for feeling this way about his own mother after all she had done to him. Luke could feel a knot forming within his stomach as he thought about the children on board the ship. They must all be terrified right now. He couldn't imagine what kind of situation they were forced to endure in Marilyn's game. If they were lucky, they would at least be able to escape the fate that this child had suffered if they were caught. These thoughts only made Luke hasten his search for a map so that they could find the security office without delay. This game had to be stopped before anyone else could die. Ella's life was already on the line just by being associated with him and there was no telling how many people might die from this game if not put to an end.
