Chapter 70

Jayden was about to open his mouth and say something when Sophia abruptly cut him off.

"Don't you dare say anything?" Sophia snapped and Jayden held his lips to avoid a slip of the tongue. He was just being dramatic and Sophia knows this.

Alex immediately got up, wore his flip-flops, and left the room without saying anything. He was still trying to piece together what happened back there. He made his way to his room. When he got there, he opened his bedside drawer and took out some pain relief pills. He downed them with water and flopped on his bed.

Meanwhile, Jayden still hadn't left Sophia's room. Sophia looked mortified over what she woke up to but she did not doubt that nothing happened between them. Alex is a noble man, she has nothing to worry about about him sleeping on the same bed with her. Her only worry is that Jayden got to see them in that position, that was the only reason she was mortified.
