Chapter 9
"This boy is behaving so childish. I can't believe that he did this just for a petty revenge."

Victor kept rubbing Cassandra's back to bring her back from the panic attack episode she had just gone into. Clare was also whispering promises to her ears to bring her back from her reverie.

Every other person in the room was clapping for the company that won except Cassandra and her people. They felt cheated as if it was their birthright.

Marcus gestured for them to leave immediately. They all stood up and left the mirage without bidding anyone goodbye.

They were back at the Kingston villa. Marcus can be seen pacing to and fro around the sitting room. It was still like an illusion to him what just happened a few hours ago.
