By now, Kyra and Lucas had returned to their home. They came in a mess of emotions. Anger was visible on each of their faces

Kyra immediately slammed down the white bag hanging on her left arm. Her breathing quickened. She was ruffling her waist and looking unpleasantly at her grandfather's face.

"What exactly has happened? Why did they kick us out? Shouldn't we be the guests of honor there and not that damn Kaiden?" Kyra spoke in a loud voice.

Lucas didn't understand either. In fact, he clearly remembered Halton looking at Kaiden with respect.
