Brandon, even though he couldn't see very well in that position, didn't look away.

"What do you want? Doctor Krasner, I believe?”

The man in the lab coat grinned more widely.

“As expected, you are not an idiot.” He said and moved closer. Though Brandon couldn't see his eyes, by the movement of the man's head he knew the man was watching him intently.

“What the hell do you want with me?” Brandon asked, trying to stay focused. He was still dizzy. “What did you inject me with?”

“You Ashfords are strong blooded and I want to run some experiments on you, that's all, lad. it's not like it's a problem if you disappear. Your little brother can easily replace you. In the end, he is the real Friedrich, right?”

He laughed and Brandon growled, but he couldn't keep it up for long. There was an access to his vein, one he only noticed at that moment when he tried to move his arm harder and the needle inside it made him feel terrible pain and discomfort.

“Keep it up and it will hurt a lot more, kid!”
