Lucy entered through the door of Krasner's office, who was waiting for her with a huge smile on his face.“Finally, Lucy! I was beginning to think you had abandoned me!” He said smiling widely and she felt her heart tighten. She nearly did abandon him, indeed. All the way to the facility, she was thinking about turning around and getting back to Gideon.“Of course not, Doctor.” She replied, standing in the middle of the room with her body straight and her hands behind her back. "What should I do now?"“Did you kill them?” He asked."No."Krasner's smile faltered a little. He took a deep breath, trying to control his temper. “And may I know why?”Lucy didn't know how to explain to him that she wanted Gideon alive, she wanted Brandon alive and Chung-hee... Well, she wasn't sure about him, but the fact that he was friends with Brandon and Gideon was enough for her not to want to inflict pain or harm him.“Have you ever tried to wrestle one of the twins, Doctor?” She asked seriously."No
The next day, Lucy woke up and went to the training room. She needed to let go of the strange feelings she didn't understand, the urge to go to Brandon, cut him loose and get out of that facility with him.She couldn't do it. Every time she thought about it, she felt terrible pangs in her head.Krasner watched her behavior and saw that she was fighting it and that satisfied him. He had not let himself be carried away by the desire to have her, however, now that she returned, he was more tempted, even more so by seeing that she seemed to be fighting her former self for herself.“The more she trains, the stronger she gets.” He spoke to himself. If there was one thing that drew Krasner to it, it was power. And she was becoming more and more powerful.By the end of the training, she felt more relaxed, however, images and feelings of what she had with Gideon continued to appear in her mind.'Stop it!', she told herself, in a scolding tone, as she removed her gloves.“Lucy, Krasner wants to
As he lay on the floor, all Brandon could think about was Lucy coming to her senses. Unless it was some other Krasner’ games. It was extremely tiring.'When I get out of this shitty place, I'm going to end up with this fucking crazy doctor!', he thought.A few more days passed and Lucy had to accompany Krasner. She couldn't act immediately as she knew she was being watched. It took good planning so that she could get out of there and take Brandon with her, buying them as much time as possible. One of the times when she was alone with Brandon, he told her about that experiment with the bodies and Lucy said that she didn't know much about it, but that she would look for information.“I don't know how long I can hold it here, baby.” He declared. Brandon's body was badly bruised and weakened. If things went as Lucy remembered, Krasner would soon begin experiments to get Brandon to start siding with him and become another 'Lucy'.“I'm looking into getting you out of here, Brandon. But I ca
Lucy was in her dorm, having just taken a shower, when someone knocked on her door. “Yes?” She answered and a male’s voice echoed from the other side. “Lucy, Dr. Krasner wants to see you. His office.” “Ok, thank you! I’ll be right there.” She heard the footsteps getting far away. Lucy let herself sat on the bed and sighed heavily. This game was becoming dangerous and she knew Brandon couldn’t take much more. It would destroy him and Krasner would win this battle. She put on her clothes and went to Krasner’s office, knocking there when she arrived at the door. “It is me, Lucy!” She said and Krasner authorized her entrance. She did as always: stop in the middle of the room, her back straight and her hands behind her body. Krasner was sitting with his back to her, looking out the window. “Tell me, Lucy… what is it that you love the most?” Lucy frowned with the question.“I don’t know.” She answered, thoughtfully. In fact, when Krasner asked that, what popped into her mind was Br
Lucy thought she truly did know the man in front of her, it made her heart ache seeing him like that, but..she couldn’t recall it! “L-lucy?” The man asked as soon as his eyes met hers. “Lucy, help me here! And… stay away from this monster!” “Who’s that man?” She asked Krasner, who just had a smirk on his lips, while staring at Rindley. “Lucy, what are you doing?” Rindley kept ranting. “He is mean, he will hurt you!” As much as Lucy couldn’t remember the man, she could tell he was truly worried about her. But Lucy knew she couldn’t yet let anyone know notice she remembered things. “I have no idea who you are. Dr. Krasner is not mean, he is here only to help you. You’ll be thankful when it is over.” She said in a much boring tone, as if reciting something, back straight, hands back. Rindley couldn’t recognize his sister there. And when he gave her a better look, he could tell her body was different. If she had not answered by the name Lucy, he would think she was just someone real
Late that night, Lucy was just waiting. She could not visit Brandon, since the guard would not let her go on her own and it was Krasner's orders for her to go from her dorm directly to the train room and back. She followed the orders until late night, when she knew only the guards of that shift would be awake. Lucy sneaked out of her door and went to the experiment room 2, where Brandon was being kept. The problem was that when she opened the door, it was not the truth. The place was empty. Soon, the lights turned on and she almost got blind by that. “ I thought it would take a little longer for you to wake up, but it seems I was wrong, my dear.” Krasner’s voice echoed and Lucy turned around to find the man behind her, but from a safe distance. “And you must know, by now, how much I dislike being wrong.” “So you must hate yourself all the time, right?” Lucy asked, mocking him and Krasner smiled even more. “So bold, Lucy. I love that in you. Really. It is one of the things that exc
Even very tired and injured, Brandon walked with Lucy and even helped Rindley, who was practically unconscious. He was actually in a cloud of confusion, not sure if he was alive or dead, if it was really Lucy and Brandon he heard. In fact, when he heard 'Brandon', for him it was confirmation that he was dead, after all, Brandon Ashford was dead, and only his twin brother, Friedrich, was alive. And, to top it off, he was an escaped prisoner.By the third day, Rindley was already sitting up.“Are you really Brandon?” he asked, uncertain.Brandon nodded, helping Rindley drink the water Lucy had gotten while she prepared the food."Long story." Brandon said, sighing.“Well, looks like we have plenty of time at the moment, don't you think? How and why did you pretend to be dead?” he asked, irritated. "Do you realize how much Lucy cried for you?"“Yes, and I'm sorry about that. I was attacked and almost died. I spent some time recovering, then I trained and joined forces that fight for good
The interrogation started the next morning and Lucy was ready for whatever they were going to ask. She had spent the night with both Gideon and Brandon, and they did talk a lot. It was not easy, because they asked about all the people she killed and part of it, she sincerely couldn’t even remember. When she was ‘released’ to attack them, she was much more controlled by Krasner and the drug inside her body, along with the device inside her brain, made her put her humanity aside and become a killing machine. “And how did you wake up?” One of the Elders asked and she glanced in the direction where Gideon was sitting along with Brandon. “I saw someone that made me confused. Gideon. Then, Brandon.” She said and the Elders looked at each other. There was denying that she and the twins had a different connection and it would only make sense if she was to wake up to her right mind because of them. As much as people there were warriors, they knew love was strong. It created a bond, a link
